Had a wonderful dinner here recently. The ambience is upscale yet comfortable. The service was incredible. Our waiter was very patient with my grandparents; at one point he called my grandma a young lady which made her night. The food was spectacular and I appreciate that they had gluten-free pasta. Best Italian food I’ve had in the Valley in a while.

As soon as you open that door... the atmosphere the service and overall the food! I was craving Lasagne. Lord have mercy! That tomatoes sauce was tasty and delicious. No tart taste no acidity taste. It was bright and red delicious layered lasagne. The food and company were great. I was in heaven !

Great place for Italian, we ordered the pesto pasta and the oven roasted carrots, both were really good! Our friends ordered pizzas which they liked as well. Just had to wait a while for our reservation, as the tables were not free. The hostess’ were kind and made sure we had a good time 😊

It's my birthday and I wanted Italian. This place looked good, and the menu had some decent offerings. We made a reservation for an indoor table. We told the hostess that we had a reservation and she didn't even look. She just said "indoor or outdoor?" She would have known if she would have looked. The decor is cute enough- some blue fabric chairs, some ikea lighting, a wall of mirrors.. nice. The food was delivered REALLY quick. Like- too quick. Our appetizers were delivered about 30 seconds after ordering. The rest of the food came out maybe 2 minutes later. We got the burratta bruschetta starter. Not impressed. It was just some really runny messy cheese on toast with a small slice of tomato and a basil leaf. It was sour tasting. The menu said it had "honey balsamic", but there was no sweetness. I've ordered bruschetta at a lot of restaurantsand this was on the lower end of the spectrum. It was pretty, but that's about it. I got the papperdelle bolognese entree. The sauce tasted fine- but nothing exciting. The noodles were far too al dente- actually really chewy. There were constantly hard chunks getting caught in my teeth. Not fun. The restaurant was filled with screaming children since they serve pizza - and their moms were guzzling wine. I didn't expect this place to have so many tables of kids. Halfway through dinner the sun came raging through the windows- even though they had tint- and I couldn't see a thing for the rest of the meal. For two entrees, two diet sodas and one appetizer- it was a hundred dollars with tip. It was just an overall unimpressive experience... I'm not going to be returning.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND A hidden gem in Scottsdale. The fire-roasted pizzas are the highlights here. They are of top class, tasty and gives you a home made feel. The place is so well maintained, pretty unique, class looking ambience. The staff was so friendly. They have a little outdoor seating option available as well. Added to my “keep visiting” list.

Update: Huge improvement from a year ago! Pastas are great tasting, the appetizers are very good - the staff and service is still also very good. Bravo for the improvement! I really wanted to like this place based on the google reviews, but I should have done more research as 12 of the 17 reviews are from folks who have reviewed less than 5 places and some have only reviewed this place. The good news: the staff is wonderful: friendly and accommodating. The place is nicely curated with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The wine list is very good and the cocktails are also good. The octopus appetizer is on par with some of the best around. The stuffed squash blossoms are very light and tasty. The bad news: the pizza is just OK - the dough needs more chew, perhaps adding some olive oil and salt will make it chewy and taste better. Being wood-fired it should have had more char. The bucatini pasta was overcooked and mushy - not al dente at all. I also did not care for the sauce as it was more of thick paste. Same too for the gnocchi which is a shame because they were actually very tasty. I am hoping that they improve, because I really like the staff and the menu. Just need to improve a bit more.

On our visit to the Phoenix area, we dined at this cozy family Italian restaurant. We were joined my brother and sister-in-law, and each of us tried a different dish. We had the mussels for an appetizer. They were very good and tender. I had the lasagna, my husband had the red clam sauce linguine, my brother had a woodfired pizza and my sister-in-law had a salmon entrée. Each one of us enjoyed our meal immensely. I highly recommend stopping by this warm and inviting establishment.

Came with a big family. Kids to grand parents they took care of everyone. Food we ordered was pasta, pizza and the foccacia bread. It was all good. Definitely worth a visit with the entire family.

Such a cute place with a great vibe! I started with a drink, the Strawberry Flower which was delicious. I would definitely order the fresh made focaccia, super yummy. The bolognese was very good and the wine was excellent. Our server so friendly and had no problem with us staying after close to enjoy the wine.

Seated on the patio. Ordered Italian Bird. Gin based cocktail very good. Ordered the Mushroom Toast. Delectable. Next up Papparadelle Bolognese fantastic. But I knew when it arrived there would be another meal out of my serving. Bryan was our server and he was witty, attentive and happy to give advise of dishes to try. We finished the meal with the Butta Cake. Definitely would return. Overall there were lots of dishes to order and it was a tough choice for the entree. I chose well but my guess is there are lots of delightful flavored meals to be savored here.
