Talavera Restaurant is located in a very beautiful area of the Scottsdale desert. We sat on the patio (outdoors with heaters, if needed) in delightful weather with a spectacular view and, after the meal, we seemingly didn't want to leave. The specific purpose of our visit was to try Chef Samantha Sanz' wonderful Mole de Calabaza dish with lamb, squash, chiles, red lentils. pecan, pepita gremolata and sage crema and more delicious ingredients. This intoxicating dish made for wonderful experiences on the palate and provided a rich and nutty blend of flavors, culminating in a balanced and smooth bouquet with a mildly lingering spicy taste. The service was impeccable. What a great and pleasant experience: We definitely will be back!

I consider myself a bit of a foodie who appreciates fine dining just as much as a mom and pop shop or dive if the food is good.... the food and service we received while dining at Talavera was one of the best I have ever experienced! The presentation was lovely, the food and wine were exceptional and THAT VIEW!!! I will be back.
Our server, David, was absolutely amazing! Our anniversary dinner was spectacular. The Paella and filet mignon were exemplary. Will definitely go back!
What an amazing experience! From the flavorful entrees to the sweet dessert; and the very kind and caring staff. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice higher end dinner experience!
Food was delectable. Everything served was made with such care. We had the fluffiest mashed potatoes we have ever tried, and it had a crispy surface, seemed like creme brulee cutting into it. Flan was super good as well. We also had sea bream and filet mignon, both were delicious. Also our server called us by name and took good care of us. Very impressed by the good, the service and the view was beautiful. Definitely sit outside when you can, beautiful city view with natural scapes as well.
Good environment, the views pf the sunset were stunning, the service in the restaurant was sharp and quick, and the food really good, coming back to test the duck
Exceptional cuisine and service. The gin and tonics were superb. Let them know about any dietary restrictions, the kitchen will work with you. Top notch service. It's a bit of a drive, but the views are spectacular.
Exceptional service, food and ambiance. We were a group of 8 girls and had an amazing time, we loved the food and cocktails and had the most friendly servers.
This place is AMAZING!! The food was spectacular and the bartender made me a very tasty mocktail since I'm pregnant. Their wine menu was mesmerizing and my husband loved the the Dom Perignon(one of the few places that allows you to buy by the glass!) I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. I didn't even get pictures of it all since we ate it so fast! Yummy! Also, the complimentary chocolate was so good!!
Samantha Sanz has outdone herself. The menu and food are absolutely incredible. The grass fed tomahawk was cooked perfectly, the paella was better than most places in Spain and the churros for dessert were to die for. You can’t go wrong with a gin tonic from here aswell. 10/10!!
Food here is fantastic and the view is phenomenal! I had the paella which was an explosion of flavor and seafood! Topped it off with churros with a chocolate dipping sauce! Decadent!
Incredible service with amazing meals and cocktails! Mira and David are two of the best servers we have ever met😎. Paella and Scallops were great choices and the bartender made some great custom cocktails. Thanks for an amazing experience.
