We went in out of curiosity, I work with a group of guys from Poland 🇵🇱 and have already enjoyed polish fare in the suburbs of culturally diverse Detroit Michigan. I was able to find some of the peirogis that I enjoyed in the past and bought a couple different types of sausage type kielbasa 😋 which is cooking with some kraut, garlic and onions as I type this 😊 Comfort Food at its finest ...
Lovely place with lots of polish/Eastern European produce, and small goods. I came in for a sandwich but discovered they don't really do that, but the lovely owner helped me grab the bread, salami and sides for a picnic. Some of the other reviews complain about service - but I found the owner lovely and attentive. The salami was amazing and I bought extra for a Gumbo I planned to make (andouille is too spicy for the kids and salami is perfect).
Used to love this place, would come through when I was in the Poconos, but I don't think it's here anymore. Some restaurant is in its place :(
Great spot for Polish meats and groceries. And they have hot freshly made pierogies at the checkout counter! I don't speak Polish so communicating was a bit of an issue, but we managed and left with sauerfrsut, pickled pattypan squash, three packages of pierogies (one of them was hot and became a snack as soon as we got back to our cottage!), head cheese and sausages. Well worth a stop if you like ethnic foods!
Great for meats and groceries.
Owners fluent in English, so speak Eastern European if possible.
Been there multiple times without issues.
The place is small but offers a good variety of products. The garlic kielbasa = bardzo dobrze!
The BEST kielbasa (garlic ❤) and peroigi (cabbage!!!) Hard to find around here.
They don't talk much English but they have a great selection of polish and European food.
Excellent deli/market for Polish food.
Great deli! Awesome sandwiches!!!
