Crust Pizzeria

Sandwiches, pizza or salads made to order with a smile. A few tables inside and on beautiful Scituate days a few tables on the front porch overlooking the fountain and reservoir. Eat in or takeout. Food is delicious. Great for anyone looking for a quite bite for lunch or dinner. My advise if possible, call ahead as they do get busy. Excellent service. I had to take a call on the porch. They wrapped up the sandwich and gave me the handoff out in the porch. Nice touch.

Quite disappointed. The pizza had no flavor. I ordered the revini(artichoke, tomato, basil, mozzarella). Yet, the pizza had absolutely no taste. It was just hot mush. The staff was nice and pleasant, but the food was not worth the moderately expensive pizza pie. The artichoke did have flavor and was tasty though. But that was barely enough.

My first pizza from Crust was sublime. Unfortunately the quality was too inconsistent the following two times I ordered from Crust. The second pizza was under cooked. The third pizza was over cooked and burnt, like I was chewing on cardboard. It's like a Goldilocks story! Tried several times over the course of several days to reach out to the owner, to let him/her know about this inconsistency, but he/she was never on site when I called. Could be the reason for an inconsistent product. I tried Crust as a new neighbor, but I've moved on, in search a "go to" pizza restaurant.
