Jay's Beef

Needed something quick to eat before heading to the airport so I stopped here. Beef was very good, not to dry, not to soggy. I ordered a double cheeseburger for my husband, he said it was by far the best burger he’s had from a fast food restaurant. My son also really enjoyed his pizza puff. Thank you!

The beef was pretty good, but two huge chunks of red pepper were added, but not asked for. Would have rather have had more beef, even though there was a decent amount. The burger was pretty mediocre and overcooked. Breaded mushrooms were yummy and a good amount of marinara, which is better than many places that skimp. First time trying the place and had DoorDash (which is so overpriced) deliver it. The first thing the delivery woman said was "The place is run by little kids with no adult in sight. Oldest couldn't have been more than 14." That confirms what others have posted. There should be at least one adult around to make sure things are kept under control. And if it is true that the kids are under 14, is that even legal? I'm rating solely on the food, but honestly, because I don't trust a bunch of children to prepare my food, I won't likely order there again. I don't understand the reasoning behind it. Cheap labor?

We've been going here for a good variety of beef and sausage sandwiches for 40+ years now. I can remember the days when you could get an Italian beef sandwich for under $2.00... Those days are long gone, but the quality has remained just as good as it always was... Thanks for the many years of serving up such quality food...
