Foist, let me start in the drive-thru at the order menu. Either the the microphone to the cashier is dire need of some repair or the woman taking my order was as deaf as a stump. I'm gonna give the employee the benefit of the doubt and chalk that 5 minutes of back and forth, misguided communication up to poor wire connections. After another 10 minutes I make it to the window ready to accept the 4 bean & cheese tacos, asada nachos and torta. Unfortunately, they had other plans. After waiting another 20 minutes I get the food, but that's not the end of this fiasco. Nope.....while I'm heading to the shack I try the nachos, bad idea, there aren't any jalapenos on the nachos or on the side and there is approximately 1/2 cup of chopped onions on the top of the nachos. I've had my share of tex-mex food as well as actual Mexican food in Mexico and never have i had onions even offered on nachos. Needless to say I think I'm giving this place too much air time as it is. Bottom line, I'm flexible but there's no chance in heck that I'll be returning to this place. This food is nasty.....and I don't mean nasty like Janet Jackson...oops, I mean Miss Jackson. Later

Come here all the time, ALWAYS forgets items lately and low quality service with some of the waiters. But there is 2 that are amazing. Come one day and their card machine was broke, and was very rude to me because didn’t have cash when I always pay card and didn’t tell me it wasn’t working before I ate. After not paying I agreed to come back in to pay another day because of it not working and I had to go to work, I come back another day and still pay for it. Then come back another day even though I been there a few times after and charge me again for my meal that was already paid for. Rather go to las pichanchas down the street now.

Charged 57.30$ for 2 tacos and a tea. Cleared my bank. Obviously a mistake but I don't have a receipt. I wasnt given one. Eat here almost every morning before work. Restaurant doesn't seem to understand anything I say. Check your receipts before you leave and always get a receipt and check it before you leave or you might be taken.

Our first time visit to Melanie's Cafe. Very clean restaurant, good atmosphere and service is very good. Our dinner plate was very good. Come hungry because they will serve you a full plate! Their dinner prices are under $9! Well below average at other restaurants! They also have a drive thru window. We love avocado and they cut it fresh onto your plate; Mmm good! Enjoy;))
