A great find on Jay Street! Looking for something to eat before a recent trip to the theater, my wife and I walked in when we saw the tea kettle out front. With a combo of inside and outdoor seating, we were met promptly and with a smile. Our waitress Cayla took the time to explain the menu as it was our first visit ... we took her suggestions and enjoyed a great lunch. Plus, mimosas flight ?!? Delicious, fresh sandwich, the roasted red pepper soup was super, and the lemon drop scone might be the best we have ever had! Stop in, you won't be disappointed!

A really cute little brunch/lunch spot with unique serving and really friendly and polite staff. We ordered the "afternoon tea", which gives you a choice of "entree" (sandwich/sconewich/quiche/etc), a choice of soup or salad, and a dessert.
The lobster bisque was delicious, and I really enjoyed the green tea I got as well. Keep in mind that if you want a crepe for dessert it is a $4 upgrade, but I consider it to be worth it.
Can't wait to come back.

Always on point, the Jay St. Whistling Kettle has much to offer in the way of flavorful teas, great customer service (thanks, Amanda!), and fresh ingredients.
Their Balance Tea brewed extra strong offers sweet notes of licorice and will be like candy for children and adults alike.
Looking for a low-guilt salad? Their Goat's Cheese is heavy on the greens and offers a hearty dose of chevre, soft. Their candied almonds are perfectly sweet and go great with the grapes against a sour but seasoned balsamic. 🥗 plan on being full!
Oh, and if you're looking for a "basic" sandwich? Go club-style with their turkey and add the extra garlic mayo. 👌

Enjoyed the time at this restaurant. We were a group of 4 and we had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. The food was good and presentation is excellent. We got the afternoon tea. Got the buffalo sandwich, soup and blueberry scone. The soup and sandwich is good. They have few vegetarian options as well. Staff was friendly. The restaurant gets busy on weekends so plan accordingly.

We went for the afternoon tea lunch and it was AMAZING! We came all the way from Queens to try this place and it was so worth the trip. The staff was kind and accommodating. Our server Danielle was so friendly and helpful :) and the food was soooo good. The lemon drop scone was so delicious, the chipotle chicken and Turkey avacado paninis were incredible and the bread was soft and fresh. We tried both soups which were also great! The tea was really good too- we had the lotta colada ice tea and the strawberry banana creamsicle smoothie.
We couldn’t recommend this place more. TRY IT, TRUST US YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Stopped by for Sunday Brunch. Food was amazing! We were a couple so we had an awkward seating situation the way some tables were set up. Honestly though, the food and service made up for it!
