We had their flavor that had a coffee base with their salted caramel, and I loved it. Their salted caramel is definitely one of the best I've had, it's the ideal caramel flavor that I'm looking for. Got to have this in Sausalito
These guys do not shy away from their scoop sizes. Huge. Great flavours! Awesome cone selections and fast service. Perfect for a hot day after riding across the golden gate.
The ice creams here are love. We had a long queue to get past before grabbing our ice cream but the wait was absolutely worth it. The service in parallel was excellent.
We went for salted caramel and chocolate chip scoops of ice cream. They were delicious. The scoop size to the price is absolutely apt too.

Be prepared for a line. An extremely long and slow moving one. Pretty cool ice cream towards the end but totally up to your tolerance of the wait

Ordered for a yoghurt ice cream milkshake, strawberry cheesecake & chocolate ice creams. Anybody going to Sausalito, should go there. Its a must do on the itinerary...
My husband and I biked across the Golden Gate Bridge and worked up quite an appetite. Lippert's was on my list of place to try, so I was very pleased to find out there was one right next to the ferry!
We both decided to get a pint, because they allow you to fill it with up to three different flavors! My husband said the mint was some of the best he's ever had! I was very taken with my Cinnamon Caramel! This ice cream is super smooth and creamy!! I would definitely recommend that you give it a try!!
Only Ice Cream Option & No Credit Cards. Lappert's is okay. They are the only option in town, and the flavors are decent. If there was competition nearby, Lappert's would have to think about cleaning up their place and accepting debit cards. As this is the only Ice Cream shop around, it's constantly busy. I never saw this place empty. Sometimes at night it would have a line out the door as families made a fun ice cream run. Okay place. Like everyone else, we make several visits.

Excellent! Lines out the door. There's a reason this place has been serving delicious home made ice cream for nearly 40 years. I prefer the tart and sweet combination here. Raspberry Coconut was delicious!!

I got a waffle cone with Cookie Monster + Hawaiian sea salt caramel, which was absolutely delicious. The Hawaiian sea salt flavor is popular, and for good reason. It mixes well with the caramel and is so rich and flavorful!! Amazing. Cookie Monster with blue ice cream is also outstanding, with huge chocolate chunks. It was fairly quick getting our order as well. Definitely recommend!
WE were wondering why the extremely long line....... apparently, it's for their world famous hand made ice cream! So so so delicious and creamy! Wow 👌

Sausalito isn't Sausalito... without Lappert's Ice Cream! If you visit here, it's a must stop. After you get off the Ferry, turn left and walk towards downtown. Relax, you'll be there in just a few minutes. But...once you're there, OMG. So, many, choices...and all of them, pure bliss. Grab a delicious Americano to go, and head back outside as you lick it all up. You got a cone right?! Never a bowl, always a cone... Come on! So, so good.
