Great place, amazing views. Clam chowder is on the lighter (not so creamy) side with whole clams which I prefer. The kale salad was really good. The butter had an odd aftertaste (like buttermilk). The calamari was done well.

I had a burger which was great. Little pricy but it’s a top location with attentive server and great furnished.
My wife had ravioli with wild mushrooms. Overall her dish was a little liquid.
Went on a weekend around 3pm and it was able to get a seat, but recommend doing reservations. Drinks are good and consistent, food is delicious. Personally our only complaint is that the crab cakes are very small, and it only came two. The ahi tuna tacos it’s definitely our favorite appetizer, and the steak sandwich is delicious as well. Prices on the average.
Lovely view, great service, and great food! Probably the best Shrimp I've ever had. Great selection of drinks of alcohol and non alcohol. You won't be disappointed. Sit inside or out. Only issue I had was our table was quite sticky before sitting 😅. But that's my ONLY complaint. We'll be regularly coming here. 😎 😊
My husband and I feel so lucky that The Barrel House Tavern is our neighborhood restaurant. The views are great, the food delicious and the staff courteous, fast and friendly. I always feel so welcome the minute I walk in the door. They make good drinks too!
The food was very tasty. The balcony view was outstanding. I suggest you to sit in balcony if it's not too. Old. I had wonderful time over there. The food portion is a little bit small compare to their price but it's worth it.
BEST place to plan an event! I recently booked BHT for a corporate team cocktail hour & dinner. I can't say enough good things about this place. Don't have a second thought about reserving! Besides the gorgeous views and location, the service, fancy cocktails and food were impressive. We had the most beautiful appetizer spread and delicious buffet dinner. Their love of entertaining shined through their presentation. The general manager, Jack was a joy to work with. He is a class act and knows the art of hospitality. Sausalito's BEST!!
This is a beautiful restaurant right on the water. We were a party of 10 and were seated downstairs in the patio. The weather was perfect and so was the food. Everything that was ordered was prepared well, plated beautifully and was very tasty. Our server Javier was not only friendly and since we were limited on time, was also very efficient.
