Papa's Deli

This ain’t subway. I walked in and ordered the Chicken goat cheese arugula sandwich. Grabbed a side and a bottle of water. Not longer after I paid and sat down, my sandwich was ready. The plan was to eat half and save the rest for later. NOPE. After that first half I had to have the rest. The key was the sun dried tomato aoli. If I get a different sandwich next time, I’ll make sure that’s on it. Mwah!

I was having a conversation with the owner of the liquor store and the conversation turned sour. The owner of papas deli started yelling at me and put her hands on me. I didn’t touch anybody or anything in that store. What kind of business owner puts hands on someone else without their consent. Disgusting.

I really wanted to like this place and but they were not following covid protocol. They allowed customers to walk around without wearing a mask and the person behind the register would remove the mask to talk to customers. Then to the food. It was decent but nothing that exciting. The bread really let the sandwich down. It was a basic cheap store bought bread that rally brought the quality down. I will not be back due to lack of care for their customers health and safety as well as the overall quality of food.

Best deli in SC!! I love that they not only do sandwiches and wraps, but we can also get our favorite cold cuts and cheese's by the pound! I've been here too many times to count, and my favorite sandwich is the Y.E.L.P sandwich. The flavor combinations are amazing. Kinley, Tanner, Crystal, Emily, Haneen, and Ruth are THE BEST! Super fast (even during their lunch rushes), very clean (everyone's in masks and gloves) , always friendly service. They've made me feel like family from day one. They will always have my business 100%.

Best Deli in town, everything I have had there is awesome! Great quality meats and cheeses, and the sandwiches are so big - very generous portions. The deli and store is owned by a very hard working family that takes so much pride in their store. Deli trays are beautiful! Order a sandwich or a pound of fresh sliced meats - you won't be disappointed! Great service by people that care about their customers. 5-Star rating from me; I highly recommend.

So I originally came into the market to grab a drink while I waited for food from nextdoor. Unbeknownst to me ( I hope I'm using that right) there was a deli in the store. I vowed to come back and give it a try. Well. Today was that day. I ordered the pastrami, corned beef, Italian and the roasted turkey. Boy I tell you what. It was all amazing. Way larger portions than I originally thought. Wish I took some photos. Not to worry. I plan on coming back every so often. With it being down the street from my in-laws. Ha. Plenty of time to snap a pic or two. Try it.
