Polcari's Restaurant

My favorite Italian restaurant hands down! The main reason for giving a 4 star was that the bread was a bit stale and hard tonight but other than that the prices were a bit high. We start off always with the hot rolls and their signature dipping oil. I ordered a side Caesar salad. My favorite salad. The dressing was perfect and the cheese was light and fresh. I also ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken. Wasn’t too excited about the $7 up-charge for chicken but it was worth it. The other person I came with ordered a small cheese pizza which is always delicious and also ordered ravioli’s. She enjoyed both. All in all I highly recommend!

We had our first meal at Polcari's Restaurant. WOW! Amazing! The food was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing! The service was amazing! We didn't have to wait to be seated and the waitress checked on us often. The portions were great; we brought a lot home because we wanted to try their desserts. Oh my; so glad we did. The lemon cake and in house made cannolis were worth waiting for. You will love this Italian experience. Next time I want to try the pizza; they looked delicious. Hats off to the manager, Julie and our server, Maria! You ladies made it even more of an amazing experience! We will be back and will be bringing more people to Polcari's!

Polcari’s serves Pizzaria Regina Pizza (originally from the North End in Boston). It is my favorite pizza I have ever had. I grew up in Massachusetts and now live in Maine, so whenever we pass by, we always stop for a bite! Polcari’s serves a wide selection of Italian favorites, but I have to say I haven’t ventured from the pizza too much, because it is SO GOOD! The crust is always perfectly fluffy and crisp at the same time, the sauce isn’t too sweet and the cheese is the perfect flavor. Stop in for a slice if you can! You will not regret it! Also— their bread and oil is so good! Be sure to add Parmesan cheese to the oil! YUM!
