One of the best spots in Butler St. The outdoor seats are super cozy. The staff is sweet and attentive. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer 10/10. The Cobb salad 8/10. The blackened burger 6/10. Kids menu cheese quesadilla 8/10. Sangria 9/10.

It is rare for my wife and I to be blown away by every dish that we order when we eat out. Usually, there is at least one item that is just "meh" compared to the rest of our order. At Phil's, everything on the menu seems to be a perfect version of that dish. This time, we ordered the goat cheese appetizer, the chicken sandwich, and the blackened burger. All three were to die for. The service was also spectacular. All the servers and staff were kind, attentive, and personable. I also appreciated that they dressed casually. It gave the restaurant a more laid-back vibe. There isn't much outdoor seating, but there are a few outdoor tables and we happened to get seated at one, which was fun. It looked a bit crowded inside, so I was glad we got a spot outside. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning myself.

Wry nice place. Had the special halibut with risotto. Very well done. Only thing halibut was just a little over cooked but that takes some experience to get right. Very good value for the meal. It is defiantly a bar experience was quite loud but not much they can do about that it’s just the atmosphere. Great service and good food. I’m sure the other good would have been amazing too! Maybe the tuna poke next time.

What an amazing spot! My partner and I went to eat here and we just had the most fabulous time! I got the pad Thai and my partner got the fish special. It blew us out the water. The pad Thai was a bit hotter than I was envisioning but still delicious. The ambiance was so sweet and I cannot recommend it enough. Service was fantastic - we had been walking around and I was super thirsty and asked for 5 diet cokes. The waitress was so kind and obliging. 10/10 recommend.

Our group of 7 girlfriends loved this place! Our server was awesome, so friendly and really knew the menu inside and out. Dirty martinis were spot on, and our food was delicious and well prepared. The fried Bologna sandwich is a specialty, and something to make sure at least one person in your group orders it, so you can try it!!! Ridiculously delicious…and who says that about bologna??? Scallop Pad Thai and the ribs were amazing too! We will definitely be back!!!

We tried Phil’s for the first time tonight. We started with the Tuna app and then I had the salmon and my husband had the Ribeye. The food was phenomenal. Our server, Katelyn, was excellent. The food was well paced. We never felt rushed and loved bed the neighborhood feel to this place. We will definitely be back!

Had the pleasure of dining at Phil's during Venetian Fest. Had no idea it was the busiest weekend of the year. But the staff kept up with the demand. Unfortunately Phil's doesn't participate in the social district (allowing folks to drink outside while waiting for a table) but we were able to stand near the bar and sip some cocktails. Bartender was great. Drinks were fast. Server was great. She did a great job of accommodating our need to exit on short notice. Food was great. Loved the salmon. Wife loved the pasta. Place punches WAY above its weight for "bar food". Will definitely go back. My only (very minor) critique is that while the beer and wine menu are good, the cocktail menu is a bit limited, especially when compared to the quality of the food. But hey... 4.9 rounds up to 5.0. So 5.0 it is.

Cozy, intimate, and chill vibe late on Sunday night. Service was on point, food was full of cheese and butter and deliciousness. Had so much fun eating and drinking wine and laughing with friends, staff, and other patrons that we ended up closing the place. Great place for enjoying pasta, sea food, and wine.

We were in town for an event, just trying different restaurants around. We were all kind of let down here. I'm not bashing anything and saying no one should go here. It was a full house on a Tuesday evening, so clearly its popular. But speaking from our own experience, we weren't blown away. Our server didn't make us feel the most welcome. Looking anywhere but at us while taking our order and just seemed annoyed. My one friend mentioned she felt like because of how we look, we were getting some judgement. I got the wings, which I didn't care much for the flavor, but that's a personal opinion. I also just prefer normal wings (flats and drums) over the whole wing together. We also thought it was a bit over priced. A normal Cobb salad being $16 plus another $6 for chicken, seemed a bit crazy to us. But hey, that might just be the area. Again, not bashing the place and telling others to stay away, our personal experience just wasn't enough to make us want to come back. Mostly because we just didnt feel welcome.

The scallop appetizer was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Love the cute animal crackers given with the bill. I will visit again!
