Our first time there. My sister had the ribeye and said it was to die for. I had the Vongole and I will go back within days to have it again, it was better than “that good”. I eat in the best restaurants every single day without fail and I’d say this one has the best chef around!

Had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish.. started w apps and drinks at the bar w happy hour specials on a Saturday.. Enjoyed our knowledgeable bartender Luke so much that we ate dinner at the bar too!! Steak was cooked to perfection and so were the scallops in my pasta dish! Would highly recommend to anyone!!

Happy Hour at Forno Bistro is great. Lots of food & drinks to choose. Highly recommend the rice balls and pizza. The gelato was fabulous.

Slightly off the Broadway beaten path but worth it. We thought their chowder during chowder fest was the best! Not a lot of parking next to the restaurant but there are parking garages a block away. Great place to get a delicious take out on Tuesdays. Cozy and comfortable, I recommend making a reservation because even the bar seats are often not available during prime dinner hours.

We visited on the evening of 6/18/22 with a 7:15PM reservation (needed) for a special 20th Wedding Anniversary dinner. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were kindly greeted and ushered to our reserved table. Our waitress was over-the-top kind and a complete professional (name began with a J); she made our evening special and one to remember. She was polite, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. We both had the dinner special (14oz NY Strip Steak) - what a meal! From the appetizer to cappuccino & desert, everything about this visit was amazing! Highly recommend sitting on their porch; even on a chilly June night, it was warm and comfortable. We look forward to a return visit someday soon!

Went for Restaurant week and had the prix fixe menu for the week. Squash bisque, veal osso bucco and a delicious confection of shortbread, ganache, carmel, & ice cream with berries. The food was good. Service was good.

Always a great experience here. Food selection rotates and specials are always good. Beware of the appetizer sampler as you may not have enough room for dinner.

Our first visit here Sat 3/12/22. We made a 5pm reservation so we weren't in a rush to walk to a concert @ UPH 7pm. Forno's has an Italian menu w/ modern interpretations. Snowy & windy earlier in the day, but fairly busy on Broadway in SS. We requested to sit at the bar. Young bartender (server #11) gave us very good service. No name given/no name tag. We had our first drinks while looking over the menu. Good selection on local craft beers on tap, excellent wine list also. This is the first place that we could recall that had happy hour on Saturdays. Happy Hour is Tue-Sat. 4:30pm-6:30pm. Beers $5. & wines $6. See their Allora HH menu on their website. A very good deal for upscale Saratoga Springs. Thank you. We decide that apps would be the way to go. I had the polpetto ($15) - 5 meatballs (beef, pork, & veal) cooked in wood fired oven w/ pomodoro sauce & shaved mozzarella. Excellent. My bride had the happy hour Pollo Panato ($10) which enjoyed and the portion was a perfect size for her. Oops! she noted that the crispy prosciuitto was missing. We shared dessert - cannoli ($10). We thought it was one cannolo to share, but it was two full size. Another happy surprise. Forno also offers other unique apps ($12-18 reg. price), salads, an antipasto for 2 ($18 per person, minimum 3 people). 6 wood-fired pizzas ($14-17), 7 entrees ($17-31), & desserts. Open Tue-Thu 5-9, Sat & Sun 5-10. Service & food are a cut above, not the same old ubiquitous red sauce Italian fare found at many other places. We had a very nice first experience here. We will be back and will recommend Forno Bistro to others. Thank you to the waitstaff & kitchen staff. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY
