Checkers

Food was actually on point the two times I’ve been there but service is 50/50. I can vouch for the employees smoking thing and waiting for 10 minutes at the walk up window (Tuesday afternoon) before anyone even acknowledged me. The second time I went through the drive thru (Thursday evening) and got great service. So I don’t know what’s going on here but from what I see is a complete lack of pride in the Checkers brand. Update: Ate here today and service has improved since last visit. Thanks Jill for being friendly and going out of your way to provide a great experience for my daughter. Keep improving guys.

The food was good and hot. Took a little longer than I expected to prepare. But that comes with getting your food fresh. The staff was nice. They were busy but I think that was because whoever was cooking wasn't able to keep up with the amount of customers in line. I might be wrong I don't want to give a negative outlook at this location. Anything is Possible. But overall it was a great experience and the food was good.

Stopped there around 2 pm today. (Sun Jan 27th 2019) I have been staying away from different Checkers locations as they haven't been very good for me for the last little while. I was hungry so I figured I would try this one as I was right there. I had to wait a few minutes for my food which I would rather do and I am perfectly fine with!!! (when you don't have to wait, it seems like you are usually getting old food and it tastes like cardboard) The fries were perfect!! They were hot, fresh, crispy and you can tell they have been changing the frying oil on a regular basis which makes a huge difference in the fries. (I find some locations try to stretch the life span of the oil but it adds a bad taste to the food) One thing that might need to be fixed today was maybe a better trained person on the burger board. My burger had way too much mustard on it!!! (It actually squeezed out a couple of times in a huge clump) Typically that burger isn't suppose to have that much on it. Hopefully the manager can use this to discuss this with the staff member today and potentially correct any future issues.

I visited the thru ordering two for $5 double bacontastic burgers with fries, taking my first bite of the beef, bacon, onion, sauces, and about half way through eating my burger, it had a very strong seasoning that began to overtake the rest, but overall the meal was good. the server was very polite and always smiling.
