I was visiting the Sarasota area over the weekend and ran into this delightful Taqueria. The food was fresh and tasty, corn tortillas are pressed and grilled right in front of you, and they make chips that are to die for! Absolutely recommend.

We like Poppo’s, have been their twice at their Landings location. The staff is attentive. A couple of things could improve it more: diet sodas and senior discounts.

The Fresh made tortillas are premium. Better than chipotle and the fountain Heads soda is a nice touch. I give it a 6/5 ⭐️

Hitting the spot right now. Also the same song was playing in the restaurant that I woke up to this morning, so there's a little bit of kismet sprinkled on this burrito bowl..

After hearing some pretty decent comments about this spot, I finally found the chance to visit. I figured I'd try a Tempeh taco with guacamole, pica de gallo and the pineapple Habanero sauce on a corn tortilla. Love that you can literally build your own taco, burrito or bowl! Not overly pricey either. The food was made per request and served with a smile!

I was so excited when this opened downtown because I use to drive to the other locations to treat myself to my favorite burrito! Consistently great quality food that keeps me coming back weekly.

The quesadillas are awesome! Poppo's has a great and flavorful selection of toppings and they also have beer available. The prices are pretty reasonable, though I think it's a bit much to charge 50 cents extra for sour cream and $2.50 for guac. Overall a great place for a quick lunch. I highly recommend.
