We first discovered Poppos on UTC about 6 months ago and when we found out there was one closer to us, were ecstatic! The design and atmosphere of the restaurant is spacious and comfortable. The open-air dining is awesome. Staff are friendly and, as expected, food is unmatched in tastiness!

Wow! We were pleasantly surprised at how great this place was. It certainly is the best value on Main Street. We had a big bowl and a freshly made quesadilla. Both were delicious and since it was customized to exactly what were wanted, they seemed perfect. We can't wait to go back to this unpretentious eatery.

So glad they opened this location on Main Street. Really like how they set the place up. The big Bar top table at the front with an open view to the street makes it a nice place to eat & people watch. The food is delicious and very affordable. The soft drink machine has some of the best soda I have had in a long time. Orange cream is my favorite. Only down side is parking but plenty of garages around if you do not mind the walk.

The quesadillas are awesome! Poppo's has a great and flavorful selection of toppings and they also have beer available. The prices are pretty reasonable, though I think it's a bit much to charge 50 cents extra for sour cream and $2.50 for guac. Overall a great place for a quick lunch. I highly recommend.

Just tried Poppo's Main St. Sarasota location for the first time and they will see me often. Great taqueria with fresh and very tasty food. The location is brand new, clean and easy to access. Great quick and inexpensive lunch spot that satisfied my hunger as well as my taste buds!

I was visiting the Sarasota area over the weekend and ran into this delightful Taqueria. The food was fresh and tasty, corn tortillas are pressed and grilled right in front of you, and they make chips that are to die for! Absolutely recommend.

After hearing some pretty decent comments about this spot, I finally found the chance to visit. I figured I'd try a Tempeh taco with guacamole, pica de gallo and the pineapple Habanero sauce on a corn tortilla. Love that you can literally build your own taco, burrito or bowl! Not overly pricey either. The food was made per request and served with a smile! I'll be seeing them again 😁😁😁
