Sizzling Tandoor

I absolutely love their food I always get everything on time whether I’m coming to eat or pick up all the servers are very nice to me and give me the most hospitality. The atmosphere is very welcoming and again the food is delicious especially the butter chicken it’s always the correct amount of seasoning which is very important for me. The lunch buffet is also really good it’s a good price 1199 for all you can eat and I love the set up of the restaurant and they mango lassi are fire!

The Saag dish here is excellent, have had it in both chicken and lamb, very good. This is a family owned business, and I love to support places like this when given the chance, especially surrounding the pandemic. There is another Indian restaurant that I have tried in town, off of Farmers lane, and I was not impressed with the food I received their vs the New Tandoor. Have been here 15 times about, about 13 have been excellent.

We stopped for lunch in Santa Rosa on our way north. We ordered the lunch buffet which was excellent. The buffet included salad, desserts, multiple entrees and sides, and an array of sauces. Hot nan bread was brought directly to our table. My friend was thrilled with the Tandoor chicken, one of her favorites. Despite ordering the buffet, we found that the service was attentive and pleasant. We especially enjoyed the background Indian music and tasteful décor. We look forward to enjoying the lunch buffet here on future trips to the Santa Rosa area.

I’ve been a patron here with my hubby for a few years now. This review is long overdue! I truly enjoy the kindness and respect all staff exhibit. The aesthetics of the restaurant offer food for the soul. Food is absolutely consistent, ready at reasonable times (even on when they have a full house) and they do NOT go easy on me when I request extra spiciness. They’ve improved my hubby’s palate- he can eat spicy food now, thank goodness! My family won’t be tricking him into eating spicy food, since he’ll casually choose it himself! :D That said, I am looking forward to eating here for many years to come. Thank you for the pleasant memories and out of this world flavors, New Sizzling Tandoor. P.S: need to take lunch there the buffet sounds incredible, I’m making myself hungry as I type this!
