I wanted a really good burger so we decided to give this spot a try. I wanted the Juicy Lucy but they don’t serve that one here so my hubby brought back a different (the cheese wasn’t melted inside but whatever) also brought back and order of their garlic parm fries (even a lil warm they were still excellent) my hubby tried their old school cheeseburger along with their beef chili. When I tell you when he took the top off the chili you could smell the seasoning (almost too salty) but good none the less. Their burgers were fine nothing to scream about but good. I was can try again. (Only reason for the three star rating was i wasn’t the one picking up the food)
The service is so prompt and friendly. Water is constantly checked and refilled. Full of energy and service quality.
My Juicy Lucy burger is really good. The cheese and sauce is in between the beef patties. When you bite the first time, the sauce and cheese burst out from the other side of burger. It is kinda messy yet fun. Burger is juicy, and for me, the sauce is a bit too salty that belongs to heavy flavor category and water is definitely needed.
Fried onion rings are think and easy to eat. It is thin like shoelaces, you’d better eat it when it is hot and crispy.
I like this place, tiny and full of friendliness. Young people with good smiles, attitude and most of all, outstanding service quality that makes people want to come again.
The only minor drawback is not about service or food but IT. The payment system on the table does not work. We go with traditional bill and credit card signature route.
Bravo!
My favorite is the turkey chili with cranberries. Sweet and spicy taste. Yes, the burgers are good also.
Atmosphere: fewer tables indoors with wide-open windows. You feel very comfortable with the airflow. Outdoor seating is nice as well. The staff is very friendly!
A nice place to hang out for a moment.
Nice consistent burgers you can customize in so many ways with endless toppings and even a delicious salad bowl burger. Friendly staff and fair prices.
One of the best burgers I've had.
Very friendly service 😍
Made a stop here after a day of brewery hopping and craving burgers. Definitely hit the spot. Very generous selection of toppings and patty/cheese options. Waitress was very friendly. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a solid gourmet burger.
One of my favourite burger places. The customisation available to make your own burger is the reason I keep coming back. I can experiment and try new toppings, cheeses, meats, etc. Quality is always consistent. Great price for the quality and service you receive.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for a solid gourmet burger. I ordered the old school cheeseburger without the cheese ($13.95), my husband had the counter burger ($17.95) and my little one had the mini cheeseburgers from the kids menu. The food was delicious, and we absolutely loved it. It is pretty expensive, we ended up paying $48.44 including the tip. You can also build your own burger and there are so many toppings options. When it time to pay? There is no reason to ask for you bill and wait, you can simply scan the barcode at your table, you can view and pay your bill and leave a tip. So easy and so simple.
Street parking with meters can be found, and there is free parking below the building.
Great food but a little pricey. Service was mediocre
I've visited the Counter more than a dozen times in the last few years. It has never disappointed. Both the food and service are good. It's probably my favorite burger place in town.
