I would love to have better pictures for you all to see but go to this sushi next to the santa monica pier area, it was delicious it melted in your mouth, when I tell you that those nigiris were out of this world im not exaggerating, the fish was so good and the drinks were also nice. Wish there was fresh fish just line that in my state. 100/10.
This was a pretty good spot to stop in for dinner. I had their salmon plate and opted to have it with steamed rice. The wait staff was very nice and accommodating for my food intolerances. It is in a very nice and convenient location within walking distance of the Santa Monica Pier. It is definitely a nice option for dinner if you’re in the area.

Sushi Roku Is Recommended For Take Out If You Want Japanese Food. The Ramen Was Spicy With I Guess Spice Seasoning. Which Was Great. For That Price. The Wait Was 10-20 Minutes And Probably Smelled Great In There The Ramen Is Very Easy To Make A Mess Due To Its Cup And The Amount Of Soup In The Cup. Well I Guess They Can Put It In A Thicker Cup Instead Of A Thin But Aside That It Was Great.
Top tier! Great Happy Hour on the weekends from 4pm to 6pm. Weekdays 5pm to 6pm. Really enjoyed myself. Need I say more?! 😏🏆
Such an amazing restaurant! The food was so delicious and freshly made. The fish was high quality and the drinks were perfect! Definitely recommend!
Outdoor dining in Santa Monica can't get too much better than this. Expertly prepared and very fresh sushi, attentive staff, and great atmosphere. Couldn't take pictures of the appetizers because they disappeared too fast... Will be back.
My family had a delicious dinner at Sushi Roku. Great location to for those visiting pier, promenade, or after a afternoon of shopping. The vibe of the restaurant is upbeat, on trend, and almost club-y but in a really VIP way. The food is very good.
Ordered many dishes and all were delicious. Not one complaint. My 7 year old son ordered the ramen and they specialized it for his taste (not spicy) and he LOVED IT!
Good for families, maybe not pre-school age. Didn’t see kid’s menu.
I’d come back again for more yokitori. Prices add up quick. $200+ for 3 people with 1 alcohol and 2 non- alcohol drinks.
Great service. Excellent food. Great people watching on the patio. The Las Vegas location is excellent too.
It's an upscale spot. I came in for the Happy Hour, 4-6 on Saturday.
Christian was our bartender, on point, very accommodating, and had some stellar suggestions for food and beverages.
Made us a drink called The Slope: gin, aperol, lillet, lemon and orange curacao
Brussels Sprout Chips are light and airy, crunchy. Just the right occasional bite of salt. Not overbearing at all. It's a decent sized bowl.
Hanabi Crispy Rice is a one bite delight for sure. The yellow tail is smooth and Fresh. Paired with the crispy rice, you get texture and taste all in one. 4 pieces.
Japanese Fried Chicken: the presentation is nice. My only gripe is that the chicken inside seemed just a bit too stringy for my liking. It's still good. I think how the chicken is cut before they bread and fry it makes a huge difference. Seems like they cut it with the grain, not against the grain.
Anyways,
I would finish with the Chilean Seabass Skewer. 1 skewer per order, cut into 4 thumb sized sections.
Buddy of mine ordered the Old Osaka, which is kind of like an Old Fashioned. Traditional, with a bit of a kick, and not as much of a sugar aftertaste. It's also been described as "An old fashioned with Japanese Whiskey. 1/4 oz sugar, and dashes of bitters."
We randomly get in this place. We have been full, but was searching about something delicious. About feeling, we are in good mood. At the end waiter Marine recognized that we are not happy with our choice. We didn’t ask for changes, help or complain but they made us happy so I wish will come again! Specially respect for Drew ! All the best 🙌
