Chronic Tacos

Again it brings me pleasure to submit a “5- STAR ⭐️ Review” for “Geo,” the Restaurant Manager of Chronic Taco in Valencia, CA. Geo ALWAYS delivers an “EXCEPTIONAL Customer Experience that leaves me “THRILLED!” Geo understands what Tailor-Made service is all about and he is definitely an asset to the Chronic Taco company. His staff is a representation of his Leadership full of positive vibes very efficient, helpful, friendly and thorough. Words cannot express my appreciation for Geo’s professionalism, leadership and courteous service. Thank You as always Geo for making me feel Valued, Important, and Appreciated as a customer. Pretty good, but not mind blowingly amazing. Al Pastor was a bit chewy, not in a good way. Also, tip options for a Subway style "build your own" type of restaurant were 20%, 30% or 40%. I'm a big tipper, but that's ridiculous. They don't even bring you your food and you're expected to clear your own table.

Pretty good food here. I got a pollo asado burrito and my husband got the two carne asada tacos plate with rice and beans. My chicken burrito is really good, not spicy at all. My hubby's carne had a spicy marinade it was in and even the refried beans were spicy. The staff here are friendly and keep the line moving along it's an efficient strategy.

Staff was amazing. The food was overly salty though. Both the steak and chicken were very very salty. We know this isn't typical of Chronic BUT we've never been to this location. So I'll give this location another shot to see if this was just a salty batch... then I'll come back and update when I do. UPDATE: NO ... IT WAS NOT that one visit. This location persistently has overly salted food... AND I LOVE SALT!!!! I've been back at least 2 more times. No.

I was pleasantly surprised by the portions at this restaurant. There is outdoor seating which is really nice and comfortable. The portions are quite large. I tried the vegetarian small burrito and there was nothing small about it! I didn't get cheese or sour cream and the burrito was still a great size. The burrito in the pic is a regular California Burrito which has French fries inside. The kids meals include the small burrito, I was gushing over. I will definitely be back. Vegan options and healthy options!

With the name, I would think this is a fun place. The food is mediocre and compared to chipotle at a high price. I had the steak tacos and chicken tacos with chips and salsa. The chicken was ok, and stealing was overcooked and was rubbery. The staff seems to not care for the guest. It appears that I was on their time. A few times, I had to check my bag to make sure I got everything I paid for. I would not plan to come back unless someone sent me there. Chipotle is a better option. I have been there three times over the last 4-5 months. I do feel it has not changed. I don't think it would.
