Food was great and the dinning experience was good too. The only problem I had was that I ordered the barbaqoa meat and I didn't realize that it's made with a sweet sauce. I didn't enjoy it but that's the way they make it there so that's more of a personal preference. But overall it's a great place to eat.

First time visit, tacos had so much meat I was full after one, but enjoyed every bite. Husband had the tostada also good! Everything fresh and still hot when we got it home. Staff was not smiling or that friendly, but we were in and out, I'm not trying to make new friends.

I am visiting my sister's family and she suggested getting the family meal. I called ahead because I've been a manger at Starbucks and calling ahead for large orders is considered considerate. This particular restaurant told me it's the only chain that will not take this order over the phone and I have to come in... So I said ok I will be there in 5 minutes. I arrive and order the same family meal. Only one staff member knew how to prepare said family meal. Then again at the register the employee did not know how to ring me up and asked for help. I was charged $95 !!!! For 6 tacos (no special meat) and side or rice and beans and cheese dip!!!!!! I later went back and did the math if I were to simply order 6 tacos (that each come with their own rice and beans) and it would have been $40. I'd rather go to chipotle or Juana iguana.

Was actually very disappointing on this visit. Normally a good change for simple Mexican fare. No one in the family was satisfied from no flavor in the proteins or sauces to just a bad burrito. Normally it's good food just not this time around.

I happen to love shredded beef when it's seasoned properly, this place shredded chicken, should it beef, is absolutely excellent. The tacos the enchiladas the quesadilla burrito everything and anything you order is just packed full it's expensive but what isn't worth while that is not inexpensive right!!!

The food is great but the customer service is below expectations. Place an order online. Get the restaraunt and im told that their system glitches and scheduled it for the next day...and then told well you're going to have to wait because I have a line. Seriously?!? And I guarantee they don't have my order right when I go in AGAIN to grab it. Rude customer service...dont think I will be returning after this! Edit! Yup as expected missing food! Their system screws up and you are the one getting screwed! Paid for a burrito and never got it and all you get is a sorry about that! I would rather go yo taco bell from now on! Customer service is everything guys and you dropped the ball!

I worked here for a few years. Very fun place to work, there was like no down time and the day went by quickly. I loved my coworkers, we felt like a little family. The food is really good. I got the food at Cafe Rio every day I worked and was never sick of it. Made fresh daily, from whole ingredients. Literally everything is prepped and cooked in store. I would always tell people, Not only are the tortillas made in the store, but they shred cheese from blocks, and bake the deserts in store. I would even make whipped cream from scratch. However, not good for those who are trying to have a low salt diet. The ice in the soda machine has literally the best ice ever. If you like spicy, the salsa fresca is delicious! I would always ask for some limes on the side and add extra lime juice to mine. I also recommend the house dressing. The dressings are also made fresh in store. The lines can sometimes be long, or they'll be out of stuff because the store is chronically understaffed. You're least likely to find a line around 2-4pm. I'm gluten intolerant and vegetarian, so I often have trouble finding food. I wouldn't recommend the place for those with celiac because there's like aerosolized four in the air from the fresh tortillas. If you have other allergies, there's a nutrition/allergy pamphlet in the store you can use. I usually order a veggie tostada sans the actual tostada. So it was like rice and beans with a salad on top. The main downside for me as a vegetarian is that they don't have actual veggies besides the lettuce and the salsas. Nothing like bell peppers, onions, zucchini, etc, but they'll give you a scoop of free guac on the vegetarian options. The servings are generous, and I was well satisfied by the heaping scoops of steaming rice and beans.

The homemade tortillas are excellent. The food was ok. The register gal was very nice and the first gal behind the counter was ok too. But the guy…we will not be coming back here. He had not filled his lettuce bins. After the gal got me my lettuce, he was more interested in getting his lettuce filled than helping the person in front of him. The place was empty…so it wasn’t that he hadn’t had time before. I finally asked “who helps this section?” He replied “I do, why what’s up?” Then he asked “ you want pico?” as he al ready has it in his scoop that he plopped in one place, then to the next thing, like now he’s all in a hurry. He asked what dressing I wanted, I said “it’s fine like it is” he continues those down there and these here are the same. I replied “no it’s fine like it is” a little louder, thinking he must not have heard me. He said “most people like the house dressing” that he already has scooped up. I said no thank you, I can’t eat dairy. He says “oh then it’s the vinaigrette” I replied “I guess so since you’re bound to give it to me” It was terrible. I didn’t use it. We again will not come back here!!!
