Islands Pacific Grill

I consider myself a semi expert on Hawaii comfort food seeing as how I grew up on the islands and learned to cook there. The food looks great but the flavors are not there at all. The whole meal left me unsatisfied and I just tossed it half way through. I spoke to two other customers near by and the had the same experience. Here is just a few of the issue: -Wrong rice. Needs to be "sticky". -Bland katsu sauce that came already on made the chicken soggy. -kalbi ribs were really thin, over cooked, and chewy. -Mac salad just tasted like mayo and didn't hold together. I'm really not sure where the got these recipes from. Now I know why there was no line. You can easily find better "gourmet" kind grip do at your local L&L barbecue.

A refreshing place to eat at the mall especially at the food court. It is one of the few places in SCV that you can eat Hawaiian food. They serve all of typical popular Hawaiian dishes like chicken Katsu, BBQ chicken, and shrimp. They also a good selection of burgers and salads. What I enjoyed the most are the juices. My favorite is the watermelon Juice. A must try when visiting the restaurant.
