The moment I walked in I was met with a wonderful aroma. They were grinding their fresh coffee beans to bag. I was on a mission for tea though, and was thrilled by their array of loose-leaf teas. They are priced by weight and you can choose how much you want of each. They're individually bagged, heat-sealed and labelled. And if you would rather just have some there, you can choose any one you want for a tea latte. I got the Kashmir Tea Latte and it was amazing! They even asked if I wanted sweetener, and what kind. I'm used to being asked what kind of milk to use, but not the sweeteners. I appreciate this, as most coffee shops over sweeten to my tastes. Theirs was perfect. I was there during a rush and they were prompt, courteous and professional. Outside of teas, they have a wonderful selection of products. They have something for the sophisticated, and the playful for both adults and children. Their Herbal Ruby Orange is the best orange tea I've had. It reminds me of hot apple cider, except with oranges 🤤 Their teas smell just as good as they taste- it's aromatherapy you can drink!

Great little cafe on upper state that has the usual coffee and espresso drinks, but also plenty of loose leaf teas and fresh whole bean or ground coffee. It's hard to find a quality loose leaf green tea in the area, so it's a treat to have so many to choose from here. Would recommend.

This spot is one of my favorites for coffee in Santa Barbara. The customer service is out of this world. The girls that work here are always so sweet and so helpful with everything. I love all the bulk teas and herbs they sell along with the amazing hand crafted trinkets and many other beautiful items. Come check it out! You'll probably end up leaving with a fantastic cup of coffee and maybe even a cool gift for a friend (:

This is the place you buy coffee and tea in Santa barbara. Not the huge national chain selling frou frou coffees this is the real deal. Some 20 varieties of beans available from around the world huge selection of fresh tea and a beautiful gift section. Some nice drinks available this place has been here in Santa Barbara for at least 40 years

An adorable little tea/coffee shop. For me, the greatest treasure here is the loose leaf teas. I'm particularly fond of the Queen Victoria. They also sell coffee (not my cup of tea) and have a small shop with various odds and ends (see photos). There are a few tables, although more for chatting than working I would say. The folks behind the counter were friendly, and quite understanding about my indecisiveness about which teas I wanted. Also very knowledgeable about the steeping of my tea. I will definitely be returning, and I hope to try all the tea!

Found this place by accident and immediately loved it, it’s very warm, charming and authentic. I went there for breakfast and found a wide variety of coffee options and pastries. Staff attention was outstanding.

This place is my FAVORITE breakfast spot in Santa Barbara, CA. The veggie burrito is so fantastic, you should try for sure...the hash browns they put inside are always crunchy and perfectly browned, and it comes with an optional dipping sauce that's a bit like a ranchero ranch.
