We live at the lake and everything is great about Decoy and that includes the service but our butternut squash soup came out cool and not hot or even warm. The waiter brought two new soups out and they were warmish but not hot. We aren't picky but it's much better tasting when hot.
The other issue we had was the air-conditioning was blowing from the vent to the table and bouncing off the glass window onto us and our food. This is corrected by us not sitting there in future. We will go back but lunch was somewhat disappointing.
Update, had breakfast here yesterday and it was good and service was good. Historically, for whatever reason, the service is slow here but if you talk with your waiter or waitress and let them know you need more attentive service, then it's corrected. Morning is nice and quiet and peaceful with beautiful views.
Ate at dockside today and it was good. Because of covid19 the rules have changed but was great sitting outside to eat. Decoy, the upstairs restaurant won't open back up for a few weeks they said but this was really nice.

Very nice to go in the afternoon. Had the steak with the Caesar salad and it was delicious. Wifey had the club sandwich and fries it was good as well.
Sit outside for the best view along the lake. Make sure to ask for shade. The sun will break your cell phone lol. We switched tables for the best customer service. Was a great lunch date.

There's simply no word to describe my amazing experience. We came on a Saturday morning hoping to spend a special morning with a friend, needless to say that this restaurant blew us away. we had the best service from out waitress. We had the most amazing breakfast with the best view. Highly recommend making a reservation.

The patio light show is amazing. The patio has heaters for cold nights and is very comfortable. The food is good, not great. The biggest downside is the patio is open seating and the problem with this policy is some of the servers become too busy and the speed of service goes way down. It took nearly 20 min just to get our drinks. Have been here about 6 times and will be back.

Decoy Dockside was amazing. My husband surprised me for our wedding anniversary. It was a great get away. Dinner was delicious. The service was great. The view was the best part. I can't wait to go back.

It was a beautiful night for a Happy Hour the week before Christmas. My only disappointment was that food/apps were taken off the Happy Hour menu. However, the light show on the lake made it worth it. We also ordered off the menu & sandwich prices were just a little over the app price.

First time here, my wife and I wanted to do something different on Labor Day for brunch and I had seen the new development by the lake and assumed it must have a restaurant. We came across Decoy and... Wow.. What a beautifully designed and executed restaurant. The food was great, the views were great, and the service was great. I will say my only complaint was the sun really heated up the place through the big glass windows, they should have semi transparent shades down in the morning when the sun covers over half of the restaurant and no one wants to sit in it.
After brunch we walked around the docks and ran into this boy who asked my son and daughter if they wanted to try fishing and we came down there and sure enough, with the young man's help they caught their first two fish! Was really a great time and we plan to come back for date night sometime soon.
