Fresh, tasty food that is extremely savory and the staff is friendly. They are taking Covid seriously with two pop up sinks in the front and hand sanitizer, and everyone wore masks.
I didn’t think it was possible to make tofu taste like General Tso’s chicken but they managed to do it with the crispy tofu in Korean BBQ sauce. I am so in love with this dish. It was not just the best tofu I’ve ever had but one of the best food I’ve ever had anywhere. However, the cooks who work at night aren’t as good and barely use sauce so it’s not as good.
I’ve also had the Yakisoba noodles and they let me have two more sauce containers so I could try other flavors. The Udon noodles were drenched in sauce so not as enjoyable and the miso soup with mushrooms isn’t very good at all.
They also have a different freshly made tea each day. I can’t say a bad word because I truly loved everything about Oki Momo. The owner and staff are fantastic.
I went with staff recommendation, Momo Yakisoba and was very pleased. The shrimp and broccoli were very fresh and cooked perfectly. It was full of good flavor. I will certainly order it again.
Portions are perfect for someone my size, and if I get three and split with my friends, it ends up being pretty cheap for take out! Miso soup was good, and the tofu curry was great (although SUPER SPICY, BEWARE). I will be frequenting this place throughout the year. Quite a few things are vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free if you have any food allergies.
Had a good first experience here with the family. Lots of mix and match menu items make this a good place to return to and try new things. Pan-Asian choices like pho, teriyaki, banh mi, Thai chopped salad. Pictured is my wife's tofu sandwich. I'll be back for sure.

Wow! I have Celiac Disease and had an amazing experience at Oki Momo! The server taking my order reassured me that the staff has safe policies for gluten free orders and I was wowed by the options available to me.
The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The quantity of food was sufficient. My friends got wings and loved them. I tried a dish with some of the purple rice and steak that was delicious.
Always fresh food! We LOVE this place. We come from Santa Maria a couple times a month and don't do that with any other restaurants. The only complaint I have is that portions are different based on cooks. If I order 3 different items sometimes they will all come in one box and sometimes two in one and a single, but other times each item is in it's own box so you never know exactly what your servings will look like.
Gluten free peeps...do you miss ordering Asian food out? Well look no further, Oki Momo has us covered! All of their sauces are made with GF soy sauce & you can create your own combos. They make Bahn mi tacos! The only gluten you'll see is bread for sandwiches & a few noodles dishes or the popcorn chicken...the rest will send your taste buds straight to bliss!

Oki Momo has become my new favorite place in SLO since they've opened. All of their ingredients are locally sourced and fresh. Their prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the portions always leave me with leftovers. I've tried everything on the menu, and I haven't been disappointed with any of the items I've eaten. This is one of the only places I've been to where I can say the entire menu is so good, that you can't go wrong with anything you pick. Furthermore, the restaurant is well designed and modern. They have outdoor seating available if so desired. Very quick service and takeout available, making this place great for a fast, healthy lunch. They have tons of vegan and vegetarian options as well.
They have something for everyone, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
