This hidden gem is obviously ran by a crew with old school values and morals towards business, and for myself as a customer, consistency is definitely a must. They offer a variety of delicious, affordable sandwiches that put a Subway sandwich purchase to shame. I will travel up to 50 miles for good food and customer service and this place makes my list!

I have been going to Bara's for years. It is by far the best sandwich deli around. Generous portions, made fresh as you order, with a good selection of sides and they now have seating for those who want sit down lunch/dinner. The owner is always friendly even though they may be busy. You can call your order in and pick it up for faster service.

Great Bam Bam sandwich with pastrami, roast beef, and corned beef! I added pepperoncini and red onion and all the complimentary fixins except the mustard - I also left happy! Half a sandwich is plenty, but you'll keep eating because it's good. They also sell hefty bags of day old sandwich bread.

Wonderful sandwich place in a corner of San Leandro. They know what they are doing, it is a well-stocked store with just the right selection of items, and you can also buy the sandwich meats directly. I followed the recommendation of the staff and got a turkey/bacon/avocado sandwich that was really excellent. Highly recommended!

The best deli sandwiches. Family owned and operated. Coming soon more cheeses, baked goods. Can't finish a whole sandwich they are big with plenty of meat and condiments. So fresh and delicious!

Was my first visit and won't be my last. Deli is very clean and has a great selection of sandwiches and sides. What makes this place better is that they have a good selection of craft beers if you're into that. You definitely get what you pay for!

Been here twice thus far. Both times I was greeted immediately upon entry and given attention while staring as uncomfortablly long as I did at my options. Both times I got a sandwich called "the hang over" and both times the sandwich was just bomb baby! They offer you the ability to customize all of the menu items or just up and make your own all together. Will be back, thanks guys!

Delicious! I had a turkey, avocado, bacon, and cheddar on sourdough roll (the Cali Club). Can’t wait to try another sandwich :)
