If you want to enjoy food Spanish-flavored dishes in a completely native atmosphere, I recommend this restaurant. Good location, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and the shredded beef taco is highly recommended.
Extensive menu, excellent ingredients, nicely cooked. Good location, close to the Mission and the train station. Very friendly, and informal. Recently refurbished so now more spacious. I've been eating here for years, including take-out. Recently I sent my boss here when he was in town and wanted good Mexican, a subject upon which he's a well respected expert... and he loved it.
Love at first bite. The open atmosphere, 1st class service, and delicious dishes make it a home run. After dozens of visits we still keep coming monthly. Enjoy! Salud!
This is by far my favorite sit down Mexican restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. Delicious and authentic recipes highlight this cozy, well run restaurant. Whether you prefer a taco, burrito, enchilada, or cheesy Chile Relleno you won’t be disappointed. Flavorful sauces elevate every dish to accompany the well seasoned Spanish rice and refried beans. Check this place out if you’re in the area. You’ll thank me.

Just found about this place. They have delicious pico de gallo...I had them make it hot and add serrano peppers, absolutely delicious! We also tried the carnitas and the combo platter with 2 tacos and an enchilada. The food was incredible. Our server was really helpful, we had some questions about the area and they were able to give us some directions to places we wanted to go see.
Waitress needs to smile more, very serious. Does not feel a friendly atmosphere. Food is good.

Walked here after visiting ZooMars. Nice little restaurant with many options. Clean tables. Friendly staff. I left my wallet in the card and they were kind enough to let me use Samsung Pay. Ordered a shrimp tostada that was a big serving. Chips and salsa were complementary which helped satisfy us before our food came. Kids meal had a generous portion. Definately will be back qhen in the area. Highly recommended if you're craving mexican food.
The best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. If you want authentic Mexican food made with love, this is your place. The outdoor patio is super cozy at night with the soft overhead lighting and sounds of The Mission Bells in the background with views of The Mission San Juan Capistrano. My favorite place to relax and enjoy some quality food. The owners are extremely polite and super friendly and can cook like no other. Plenty of vegetarian 🌱 options as well if you desire. I highly recommend The Huevos Rancheros - I discovered taste buds I didn’t know I had. Also, Breakfast is served 24/7 which is awesome since I prefer breakfast for dinner sometimes. Try it out and experience one of San Juan Capistrano’s local gems 💎
