Arrived by 9am and the line was stretching to the front entrance, but it took me just 5 minutes to place my order and pay. They only accept cards, not cash. This is one of my favorite spot to unwind and recharge by strolling around. Invited a friend to taste their coffee; latte and mocha with the thickest foam around! Paired them with the 'Queen' cinnamon bread and a Herb Bagel Bomb, it was all good! Great drink, pastries and outdoor space.
We had some time to kill while waiting for the train back to San Diego so we popped in for an Americano and a Chocolate Croissant - which were both very good. This Coffee Shop was once a family home and had some great history posted on the walls. “Steve Says” well worth the visit.
CON- barista could not tell me if they offered a dark roast! I was shocked & opt for an espresso shot. Was told the almond croissants are very popular, but it wasn’t fluffy or crispy!
PRO- Been wanting to come here for 3 yrs. It’s in a cute historic area near a beautiful park. Love this coffee shop vibe. Ample seating outside, little room inside.
Display of pastries were full, seemed to have a variety of coffee. I would come here again, it seems like a great place to work on your computer with free WiFi.

Not enough to write home about, but good enough to write a review. The coffee was pretty darn good, great? Well, I wouldn't go that far. Had a small maple bourbon latte. $6.50.. Yikes! Not for a small cup of joe with a splash of flavoring that was not all that "Maple Bourbon" flavored. The cashless system kinda sucks as well. Not a fan of "forcing" folks to use a card and make them use a pay point system and have to decline or accept a tip choice. Why would one tip, before they have received service? How is this acceptable now... The person who took order didn't even get to know me, ask how I was doing... I'm going to tip just to tip. Sorry. The location is an a historic area in a very old house with all the creaks and wooden floor sounds to go along with the old building smells. The place has great character and charm. Great outside eating and drinking area surrounded by garden like charm. Why 5 stars if everything wasn't awesome... Well... Lets be fair. Is it fair to dock for simple opinions on taste, size, value or service when nothing deliberate or negative occurred ? That's not a true review. They pass the good place to get a cup of joe... Maybe I choice wrong type.... Maybe they will come to their senses and go back to accepting the cash that most of us choose to carry. Maybe not. But they still have a great little place to visit and it was delightful.
Very cute little coffee house! They had a happy hour so we got the cold brews for a good deal! They also had pastries in the window. Sat in the lovely back patio area, and just enjoyed the atmosphere there at the picnic table under the trees. Good hang out!
It’s adorable! Great coffee and customer service. There’s a lot of seating outside.
Love my flat white and pumpkin cake, also saw a beautiful girl with a red cowboy hat
One of my favorite places to go when I am in San Juan Capistrano. They have a good selection of coffee and pastry. Highly recommend it.
Small coffee shop with great coffee. The drinks come out pretty quickly, taste delicious and look great. The do serve pastries and the everything bagel balls are filling. Can be crowded at times during the lunch hours.
Extremely unique location. Coffee was delicious. It’s a little tight if you want indoor seating. But there’s plenty of outdoor seating. I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood from the parking lot to the car.
