Review: I was close to this place and didn’t want to walk far for food, so decided to try this place, even though I didn’t find good ratings for this place on google reviews.
However, I am still giving them 5 stars.
Here’s why-
Treated professionally by staff. Super attentive. The recommendations from the menu were awesome. I chose to have their lunch special - Veg thali- which consisted of one dal, one curry, nan, rice, appetizer (pakoras or fritters) and dessert ( I chose gulag jamun)
All of it were pure Indian flavors.
Recommend it truly on the basis of the food I had.
Great service and great food. Veggie Pakora were well done and plentiful and my Chicken Tikka Masala was quite tasty. Looking forward to seeing this place thrive.
Holy mackerel the food was so amazing oh my goodness also but people were so nice I felt like they adopted me as their own son. I felt loved and a way in which I had not been in love since my youth. I felt safe I felt like a good boy. also did I mention the food was wonderful. But also it was my birthday and they put this happy birthday video on the TV near our table and made me feel very special inside. But also the food was great and the people were nice to me.
Nice cozy place for family dining. We went during a weekday dinner outing. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. It wasn't crowded at all. I wonder why. Was it because it was a weekday or maybe people order takeaways. Nevertheless, the food was delicious. But the quantity was quite less especially the gravies. That would be my suggestion to increase the portion. Would like to check out the place during a weekend & update my comment later.
Food was good, service was fine. I just do not understand why people are not coming here. Maybe, lack of advertising?
This is hands down the best Indian Restaurant in town! The service was over the top, they went above and beyond with everything. Made sure we had plenty of water, refilled drinks, even played a special happy birthday song for my mom's birthday! The food was perfect, there was not one bad thing to order on the menu, whatever you got it came out great! Will be returning very soon! Everyone made the experience special.
Great food, you must stop by! I was on my way to San Francisco with some friends and discovered this restaurant from the excellent yelp reviews. It surely did not disappoint my taste buds! I ordered the tandoori chicken and it was so juicy and flavorful. My friend ordered the Butter chicken and the gravy was so creamy and she seemed to love it. This is the best indian food I've had in a very long time and it reminds me of my mother's cooking.
The decor of the place is really nice and everything is classy and clean. We were greeted as soon as we entered and the owner, Varsha (I think her name was) even stopped by our table to give us a quick hello and to ask if we needed anything. Customer service like this really makes a difference and we were thoroughly impressed. Can't wait to come back here next time I'm in town!!
They have a variety of authentic north Indian and Punjabi dishes. I was told their chicken and lamb items were good (I am a vegetarian:-) They also have an attached bar and serve variety of alcoholic beverages. On many Fridays and Saturdays they have karaoke performance, sometimes with live band too! It's great family fun!
They also have party halls that are available for up to 75 people capacity; they cater too.
They have ample parking and located very close to junction of Fwy 280 and Saratoga Avenue
Delicious food. Excellent service. Neat and clean. Visited twice along with my friends and enjoyed. Ideal restaurant and the name Flavours of India suits and stands for its true spirit and meaning. Thanks to Mr Chopra.
They have good multiple space for buffet sitting, and which can occasionally be taken for birthday party or, get together.
I celebrated my daughter's first birthday here, and they allowed me decorate a separate space, and let me do light music. With buffet it was great to enjoy the occasion, without worrying about anything.
