Burger King

I have to be honest here. I'm going to take a side in the fast food wars, finally. For the fries! Burger King has the best fries. I said it and I meant it. Forget about fancy waffle shapes and healthy frying styles. Taste is king. The burger is delicious but average. You can find better if you look. It is affordable in price. Will I come back? Definitely. 💖 The milkshakes here are better than in n out. 🤩

The drive-thru is usually LONG (thanks, COVID), but I will say it moves fairly quickly. However, this past Wednesday, I ran into a little snag, which is a bit unusual for this place. I was out running errands and stopped to have a bite. I went through the drive-thru and ended up NOT receiving my fries. So I decided to go inside. I was asked what was wrong, and I said I was missing fries, so I got an upgrade for my trouble. Then I drove to the shade to eat and found, instead of my burger, a spicy chicken sandwich (and, boy, do they mean SPICY!). So another trip inside to get my correct order and came out with MORE fries as a freebie. (Not that you need SO many fries, but I appreciated the thought behind them.) Again, the errors made WEREN'T typical. Everyone has an off day, and this was theirs. Usually, when I stop in for lunch in between all-day errands, I get my meal without issue. The staff is always friendly, and service is usually quick. This time, everyone was friendly and quick with a couple "oops" moments. Still, if you like BK and you happen to be in the area, stop by. If the drive-thru's long, go inside. But, as with everywhere now, don't forget your mask!
