I went out there with my friends. I really wanted to try out this Greek place, but at the same time, I felt like having a gyro, so I ordered this delicious lamb pita with french fries and tzatziki sauce. I also got myself a yoghurt and amazing baklava, which was very sweet but worked out perfectly as a dessert. A visit to a Greek restaurant is very rare for me, but this one would be worth going again!
For a quick bite, this place hits the spot. I’ve found their ‘plates’ most satisfying. It comes with a Greek salad, meat (I get beef/lamb), veggies, pita, fries and some dip. Plus they’ve got the cool Greek drinks ta-boot. Order at the counter style service, and quick prep, so if you’re in a rush and hungry, Nicks is a good choice. We’ve been to a few locations since they started opening all over, and as someone who supports local, I appreciate that the company started here and by locals….and bravo to them for expanding to such a huge network of tasty joints…..and again, the plate is where it’s at. PS…cheers to the crew in WG today. Lunch was delish!
This place is legit. Good prices, great food, very nice people.
We live in Santa Clara and we spend many weekends on the Bay Area. One of our favorite areas is Willow Glenn. We already been in Nick The Greek in Redwood City. Walking in search of a restaurant for lunch we discovered this place. Immediately we stop and decide to eat there. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the menu very varied, I chose the Gyro Salad with chicken, fresh spinach and organic arugula served with pita bread, dressed with there signature honey balsamic vinaigrette with and my hubby choose Gyro Salad with beef/lamb.
Update: another beautiful weekend in Redwood City, is a little bit cold 🥶 perfect for a Avgolemono soup 🍜 made with orzo pasta, fresh eggs 🥚 and chicken 🍗 16 oz. So nice & warm.
I highly recommend this place for a casual lunch.
Great place and always fresh fast service at an affordable price! Love they even told me that adding a skewer to the plate is less pricey than getting a side skewer. Very honest staff, love that!
Prices have gone up recently but where has it not? For me, still a 5 star choice.
Got a pork gyro wrap, which was delicious. I usually get Nick's fries when I go there, but since I got a wrap, I just got the Greek fries instead. It was too big a portion for one person, so I had leftovers. The counter person was very friendly and attentive. I got mine too go but would have been happy to eat it there, too.
Seriously some of the best "fast" food around! The food looks better than their ads and the taste is always amazing. Fresh food, real ingredients and always friendly staff. Their loaded fries feed at least two easily and is one of our favorites and an amazing value. 😊😊😊
Decent place to get a gyro, and I’m a big fan of their greek fries with feta, garlic, and spring onion- fantastic combination, I wish every place had some form of garlic and cheese fries. Portions are enormous- next time I won’t be getting fries with my pita. Cons: I wish the gyro meat was a little crispier, and it could have been more flavorful. I also don’t know if I like how they put fries in every pita, but you might!
The best is service! Cashier always smiles and helps, details oriented. Fast and friendly.
Great food! Fast and fresh. Good portions. Clean tables and chairs. Unfortunately no baby changing station in restrooms. 😕
