Trine’s Cafe is a small family-owned restaurant that has very home-style feel. I went on a cold day in December and wanted something to warm me up. I ordered the #11 combo plate that comes with a Beef/Chicken Enchilada and a Chile Relleno with rice and beans. I also ordered a bottled coke. Everything came out to be under $23 after tax.
Everything came out hot and fresh. The beef enchilada was very flavorful. Wasn’t too tomato-y. Very rich and deep flavor in the meat. The chile relleno was very fresh. Once I took my first bite, I immediately felt like a kid eating a meal my mom would make me. That experience alone is priceless. I rate this meal an 8.5/10. I would drive around 30-45 minutes to eat this again.

Excellent chili 🌶️ and enchiladas, and hubby got pozole and it was super good! Made us feel at home and the food was like home with the homemade corn tortillas and great food!!

Food excellent. Waitress great service. Salsas are fresh and authentic. Chile relleno reminded me of my mom’s. Pozole was delicious and the chips were homemade from fresh tortillas.
My family and I have been going to trinis for years. Because they serve the best of the best. Their chili rellenos, enchiladas everything is great. All I can say try it and you wont regret it. Gotta go I’m hungry 😋

This Mexican family restaurant has been a San Jose staple since 1969. A true gem for delicious home cooked authentic Mexican food. At one time there were 7 locations in San Jose. Now they are down to 3 locations. You will not be disappointed.
Food and service were excellent, dispute of there being just one person who is running the show, right from showing seats, passing menus, taking order and serving out, back at reception! Now sure, she was the one in kitchen too.

The food was delicious. Very nice atmosphere. The owner greeted us at the door. Such a sweet young lady.. the service was awesome. I will be making this one of my favorite places.
