Parking is probably the biggest challenge with the drive thru Starbucks in the same parking lot. The papusas were my favorite (steak with beans and cheese). Price was pretty reasonable, which is always a plus.

This place has delicious carne asada tortas and fries. I placed my ordered to go, the food was prepared in minutes. There is plenty of parking. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. The service was good . I was very satisfied and full after this big sandwich. Food coma for sure. 😁

They do not have a lot of choices from the menu. The service is slow but the wait is worth it. The food is pretty good

Came here today cause I was craving Mexican food, and being half Mexican it's hard to look for good food that's authentic. I came here to this location cause I'm getting my car fixed at the dealership that's down the street. I'm very pleased with the food, tastes great. I ordered the breakfast burrito, was awesome. A bit small, but I'm not trying to get fat either. So it was perfect. I'm sure they have bigger sizes if you asked them. Service was good, but nobody comes and asks, "how is your meal?" It's okay, still willing to come back for the food. Over all it's a good spot if anyone's in the area. Mexican hole in the wall, always has the best food. Hands down.

Super delicious pupusas, hand made to order. Prices are reasonable, and they have a variety of dishes in their menu, in case you want something else. My favorite is the steak and pupusa combo, its so freaking good!! I give 4 stars because of the wait time. I've been there on 3 separate occasions at different times of the day, and each time have had to wait 30+ mins for our order. I'd recommend calling ahead and placing an order if you dont want to wait

This restaurant came up in a search for a Mexican Restaurant near the San Jose Animal Care Shelter--and though seemingly mostly an El Salvadorian place and not Mexican (there was a bit of several kinds of Mexican and Central American food), it did not disappoint, quite the contrary, it was so delicious! I had enchiladas and my friend had pupusas--both were very tasty as were the rice and beans and salad/greens on the side were very fresh. Horchada was also good--it might have had more nutmeg(?) in it than I'm used to but it was a nice change. It's so nice when one stumbles on a place and it turns out to be a winner.

Best pupusas in the South Bay, hands down. I got the pupusas revueltas (pork, beans & cheese) and they were delicious. Excellent flavor, good combination of cheese-y bean-y goodness. Om nom nom. We also tried the tamales, and those were very savory. Probably the least dry tamale I have ever tasted, and it had a really juicy flavor to it. I thought that the meat/corn balance was really good, and it is also probably the best tamale that I have had to this date. I recommend the chicken one over the pork, but both were excellent. All in all, this place is delicious, but it is possible that you could have a bad experience service-wise if you don't speak spanish. At first, I thought that our waitress was a little stand-offish, but she admitted that her english just wasn't very good when I asked her to explain one of the menu items, and since I speak spanish, I just asked her to explain it to me that way and then we were good to go from there. :)

I really enjoyed my dinner at La Costa Del Sol. I ordered pupusas De queso con loroco. (Cheese and a Salvadoran yummy herb) They where very fresh and delicious. I try a lot of different places that have pupusas and this is my new favorite. I was with my parents and they ordered some with beans and some with squash. They had the same reaction.

I came here with my girlfriend and her brother for lunch on Easter Sunday. I got the lunch meal where I got a taco and enchilada with bean and rice . Also when I checked into yelp they gave me a free pupusa It does say the free item must be used Monday-Thursday and spend at least $10. The person at the counter allowed me to use it, so I got a free pupusa. My girlfriend got a free item and so did her brother. The carne asada tacos are really good. But the pupusa was definitely one of the tasty food items I had. I was sad we didn't eat in the restaurant and had to take it to go so I couldn't try their hot sauce. I had tapatio instead.
