First and foremost, I have to say that this Korean BBQ restaurant surpasses GEN in quality. It's an all-you-can-eat establishment that offers both BBQ and hot pot options. You can choose to indulge in just BBQ or opt for the delightful combination of both. The BBQ selection includes chicken, pork, beef, and seafood, while the hot pot features a variety of vegetables, as well as options like lamb, pork, chicken, and seafood.
I was particularly impressed with the freshness of the seafood, including large oysters, mussels, fish, and clams. The food overall was exceptional, and there was a wide array of sauces to enhance the flavors. The only thing to keep in mind is that they have a 2-hour time limit for dining.
The use of tablets attached to the wall for ordering is a convenient and swift process. It eliminates the need to wait for servers to place or receive orders. This makes it a fantastic destination for those craving a delightful Korean BBQ and Hot Pot experience.
AYCE Korean BBQ and hot pot Best value on AYCE with good variety of meat selection for $33; ribeye, galbi, brisket, Bulgogi, etc. They also have seafood like shrimp, oyster and octopus. Good quality meat, well seasoned. Very helpful staff.
It is all you can eat. I have tried many similar BBQ places, I respect to this owner, he/she provides pretty good layer and meat to customer. We lucky met the very friendly and gentle young male server. We appreciate his service alot on Saturday 4th of November nearby bar STATIONS RECOMMEND!!!
We were here on a Wednesday night with family. One member had the hot pot and the rest BBQ. The meats were good for the BBQ. The hot pot was for a non-meat eater member. The seafood for the hot pot was good along with the miso soup. The variety of veggies was better than expected. The waiters and waitresses were attentive and quick with the meat orders. Overall, we left full and happy. Would definitely come back again. Sorry but for forgot to take photos of the food.
Our waiter Kai was awesome! 5 stars! This was our first time getting hot pot and he was not only very amicable and personable, he was also patient enough to explain everything and answer all of our questions.
The broths we chose were amazing! I was expecting the fried options to be hot from the fryer so we could eat them as a side, but they came out cold as if they'd been frozen / were defrosting.
About $75 for two people, hot pots + sodas, so a bit expensive.
Overall though, it was a fun experience!
It's a great place to experience both hotspot and Korean barbecue the same time. The selection of meats are good and the marinated meats or pre season meats are excellent. The brass for the hot pot is very good and The induction burners work great on the pots. When you're griddle top over the gas burner for the barbecue gets too burnt they switch it out right away, service is very good and prompt. The only thing I don't like is that the bench seating moves so freely, you move just a little bit and the whole seat slides.
This place gets super busy on weekends and offers both hotpot and bar-b-q. Each customer gets to enjoy their own individual pot and there are several flavored broths on offer. The meats, lamb, chicken , pork, and beef are fresh and so are the greens. There are also spicy and marinated meats on offer. My favorite soup base was the Thai tom yum. The servers were very helpful.
Meat quality is great and consistent. Have not tried hotpot, only bbq. Pork belly and most beef options are the best.
Service was better than average, but not outstanding.. we're a little too busy and forgot a few things.
Atmosphere is what you'd expect, super busy, loud, lots of smells and smoke everywhere. Tables and walkways are mostly big enough. I've been in some hotpot places that are way too small, not a problem here.
Would recommend for a group of 4-8
Excellent respectful customer service. Kept coming around to see if we needed anything. Good food that came out fast to our table. Their Japchae and karage chicken were so yummy. Delicious BBQ and pricing is great. The short ribs were not fatty either. Will definitely come back. Get the creamy broth it’s so tasty! The Taiwanese spicy will probably destroy your taste buds undoes it’s your thing. The sauce bar is perfect pairing which also had fruits on the side. Very well thought out and not overly crowded at opening!
First thing I'll say is, don't get the hot pot!! It was an extra $5 per person which is cheap but compared to the Korean bbq it's not good. Trust me! The Korean bbq was delicious!! My favorites were beef spare ribs and spicy pork belly. Just skip the hot pot. If you go during the weekend you'll pay dinner prices. The service was really good! Shout out to Edgar for taking care of us. He was very friendly and explained how to use the tablet to order food. Edgar was very attentive and checked in with us a lot and kept clearing plates. Definitely one of the better Korean bbq places. I'll come back here for sure.
