We came checking a review of 4+ and for the food we had it was a delicious. Naan was fluffy and light (not dense), kofta was tomato gravy based and was nice. Kadhi Paneer could be spicy but was not. Overall with a 3yr old it was decent food. Consider how much sweet indian American food is, this one was relatively lot better.
Our first experience was fully deserving of 5 stars! We tried several items, over-ordering like starving students. The tandoori chicken - perfect in texture and flavor, none better. Curry items were rich in flavor, perfectly balanced. Its hard not to go on and on. This is one of the rare occasions when every items is a "I want twice as much of that" item. But the lamb has to experienced. I eat lamb at every restaurant that offers. This is the best. Mild in earthiness, the Spanish spice combination this restaurant uses is superior to others. My domestic partner dislikes lamb to the extent that it cannot be cooked in our home. She ate more than me.
The lamb wrap is a great choice too. But even the rice and the naan was a level up.
I highly suggest you experience the talent in this kitchen. Rarely do we get world class talent on an affordable level.
Meet the owner. Your spirit will be elevated.
We found this place after we headed out for Punjab Cafe and realized they were closed. They have a weekly lunch buffet and a dinner buffet which starts at 6:30. It is delicious and very reasonably priced! The flavor of all the foods is amazing! I highly recommend it.
Whenever i go to San Jose i visited the Tandoori Fusion Grill, excellent food and service. Reasonable prices for the quality of food. I enjoy the fish curry dish with their garlic or onion naan. Everything that I've tried there has always been very good. Really awesome place and good behavior of the staff.
Awesome Indian food and especially their veg biryani
This place has a new owner from the past two weeks. And that man is very friendly. He goes around the tables, asks everyone if everything is okay or if they had any complaints etc. The food is really nice too. Had biryani yesterday and it was okay but today's lunch buffet was really good. Fresh food, comes with two different items for dessert, and chai. Better than the lunch buffets offered by other Indian restaurants in the downtown. And heard they have plans to start idlis and dosas too.
My wife and I really enjoyed having a Saturday lunch here. On that particular day, even though the buffet was not available, the manager prepared a delightful vegetarian Thali combination for us. The variety was as good or better than a typical buffet, and it was completely fresh out of the kitchen! Our favorite dish was a curry with potatoes and leeks, and the "new" taste for us was a spicy pickle from Sri Lanka.
It was really fresh. Nice and clean dining area. They make small amounts but keep filling, so it's always hot and fresh. The tandoori was one of the best I've had, but the rest lacked a certain pizazz.

A small Indian restaurant with decent Interior's and above average Food.
This place serves Halal food "proudly". Got a verbal assurance from staff and is mentioned on their menu. Had ordered Cilantro Chicken twice along with Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Sizzler.
The Cilantro chicken tasted great the 1st time, but wasn't that good the second time around. The Sizzler is costly, u do get to try a lot of varieties at a little higher cost. Biryani was actually good, surprising to see them pull it off well. Good place to visit for an informal lunch or dinner with friends but not very good.
P.S.Though the Buffet might look tempting, but a-La-Carte is a better bet.
Good, but typical Indian Buffet. Mostly northern favorites, served up hot, fresh nann brought to the table by kind staff. Gulab Jamun were cut in half and cold though; that seemed odd to me.
