Love this place. We love Maria. When my son was little she would tell him she was going to find him a Greek wife. Tasso would tease him about eating his veggies. They are like family. I could go there and just eat the lemon rice soup...however there are many other yummy things on the menu. My husband always gets the Greek combination. We miss having Tasso's in Gilroy. We have out of state guests coming for a visit...this is where we are taking them.💗💗💗

This place is airy, and casual, and the dominant tone of blue surprisingly makes the place cheerful too! There is additional outdoor seating . The service reminds you of Olive Garden’s longtime slogan, “ When you’re here, you’re family.” The portions are very generous, and their moussaka was just as it should have been, a classic comfort food! The prawn dish ( I cannot remember the name)that we had ordered was hearty, bright, and packed with flavors! Of course, I would be a regular!

A new find for us and glad we did. Family owned Tasso’s on the edge of Willow Glen is a diamond of a find. Enjoy, authentic Greek cuisine, a full bar, friendly service and a sporty interior or outdoor seating on pleasant days and evenings. I thoroughly enjoyed my Gyros plate (pictured) and started with the homemade Greek Lemon Soup. Yes, I was emotionally transported to a cafe in Athens! On my next visit I’ll try the (fresh daily) seafood dish and a seasonal salad. Don’t deny yourself the tasty Baklava at the end of your lunch or dinner. Open six days a week (closed Mondays); don’t go another week without giving Tasso’s a try.

Maria is phenomenal and great friendly service. Good solid family run business. Greek gyro meat some slices were little on dry side while others were tasty and juicy; however, did taste very good. The greek salad was super colorful, crisp looking, delightful taste, smothered with Greek cheese crumbles. Beautiful tomatoes, big olives, big fat cucumbers. Yum. The gyro bread slices warm and crunchy - perfect. Ice tea refreshing. Overall yummy for the tummy. PS the bar looks amazing.

Dinner entries are not cheap, but they include salad which is nice. I’ve got Kalamaki Trio which is skewers of three different meat types. Meat was prepared just right, grilled vegetables on the side were great too, portion was enormous, have to take home most of it.

Tasso’s is a great place for greek food, we wanted to try something different and it dis not disappoint, although I’m not a greek food expert, our food selections were good enough for us to want to come back. We had a pesto chicken in a pasta and a lamb meat sandwich that was very juicy. It was a slow day for a Sunday afternoon lunch but nevertheless, it was a good selection. Its a full bar with a couple of tvs and nice areas outside

Very modern Greek decorated establishment in blue and white. With a very warm hostess/waitress/owner. She was delightful, and so was the food. This was my fourth trip to this restaurant, something just keeps calling me back. This time I tried one of the lunch specials, the Gyros plate. An abundance of fries and pita bread with salad and meat. Traditional Greek standards that were deliciously made. As before my favorite was the salad. Fresh fresh ingredients with crunchy bell peppers and onions. Plump tomatoes and olives...and I got 6 olives (no skimping there). Plenty of feta and just the right amount of Tzatziki. Meat and pita and fries were cooked just perfectly, nothing dry here. My companions enjoyed there meals as well. The one guy who ordered the moussaka didn't even leave a crumb, he enjoyed it so much.

My fiancé and I had such a great experience here! The staff greeted us as though it were their opening day; nothing but compliments and smiles. The vibe of the restaurant is definitely modern, but still intimate. Tasso himself greeted us with a handshake and made sure to check in with us after every course. Now for the food: DELICIOUS! We ordered a cilantro, jalapeño feta spread to start off with and it was absolutely tasty. We then followed with their avgolemono soup- hands down the best we've had in the South Bay area. For the main course, we ordered their mussels and chorizo. The broth was full of the flavor and the mussels were so fresh. It was all just a great entrée. We ended the evening with their baklava and boy what a great ending to the evening! Their baklava was made with almonds instead of pistachio which gave it a different crunch texture; full of fall spices and then complimented with some fresh strawberries. Shoutout to our bartender and server, Jennifer, who made this visit that much better. We will definitely come back again!

The food here is great! Their pita is definitely the softest pita I have had. And the service is amazing too. For every entree you get a side of soup or salad which is nice and you also get complimentary bread. It’s a great place for non-vegetarians but for vegetarians you are pretty much stuck with pastas. They have different types of pasta so it’s not just one option. I got the Greek-style pasta and it was delicious. They do go a little overboard with olive oil on all their dishes but I personally don’t mind it, some others might find it too overwhelming. If I were a non-vegetarian and they used a little less olive oil, I would have given them a 5 star rating. I wish they had more vegetarian options. Also, they have a list of garlic inspired dishes, so if you are fan of garlic then biggie this place a shot.
