This is a more modernized Chinese restaurant with nice tables and chairs. We order food using their web app. Right after the form is submitted, staff comes to confirm and ask if there’s any customization. Since this is Hunan style, expect the food to be very spicy. Some of the dishes can be adjusted to be none or less spicy. Be sure to let the staff know your preference.
Foods are delicious. Crisp Lamb Chops with
Chili & Peanuts is the best.
They are vegetarian options, but not as many as I would like.

The service is great now, while the food is even more tasty. I really recommend this restaurant!
--------------------------------------------------
The food here is great and the environment is clean. Also, you can order by using a pad instead of traditional menu. But, there is always long waiting line while there aren't enough big table for more than 5 people, which means you have to wait much more longer if you have 5 or more together. The service here is terrible. The waiter didn't even look at me when talking to me.

The best ChongQing chicken in the entire Bay Area, hands down….and I’ve had them all. Just make sure you tell them you are from Wuhan or Sichuan so they make it legit spicy - da da la. It was crazy spicy and so so good. I think they marinate the e chicken in the chili oil over night because every other resteraunts flavor potency is about half of what you can expect from this place’s ChingQing chicken.
Also had the Xīguā with thousand year egg in a delicious soup…so good with a home cooking flavor. Also had the braised short ribs which were incredible and full of flavor and spices.
The plum juice was light of sight. For non-Chinese: it tastes kind of like a really good Bloody Mary mix without the fake ingredients…delicious and really helpful to drink with spicy food.
I don’t really know what else to say, this place is one of the best in the Bay Area if you like spicy food and high intensity flavor. Drive down from the city fairly often to come here.

A must-goto place for Sichuan/Hunan food hunter. They have also got a new dish menu that you should definitely try out, the steamed seafood collection in the 2nd picture is very fresh and flavorful.

Very very hot and spicy dishes from Hunan Province of China. However, you can decide how hot and spicy you want on most of the dishes. All the dishes are very delicious and suits my taste perfectly.

Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the Bay area! Especially if you like Hunan cuisine or spicy foods. Highly recommended 🙌🏻
The taste was very authentic. The portion sizes were big, but you can wrap it up. Ordering was efficient because you can get to ordered on iPad. And the staff were friendly.
Would like to revisit to try other dishes.
🚨Cons:
1. The parking area is unsafe, cars windows usually got smashed.
2. A little bit expensive (but definitely worth it!)

A high quality and authentic Hunan place. Excellent mei Cai kou rou. Everything was fresh, well cooked, well presented. I recommend ordering the meat dishes that are spicy, as these are definitely this place’s specialty. The veggie dishes were good but not special.

A Bay Area Chinese chain restaurant has multiple locations specializing in hunan style spicy food.
The food is spicy with a strong flavor, a bit on the heavy side in terms of seasoning, but it is authentic.
The restaurant is popular among spicy food lover, you are looking at a 20-30 mins wait on average.
All their dishes are great especially the one pot style dishes.
The food portion is decent, about 20 per dishes. You need average 1 dishes per person. If you wanna try out different things, definitely comes with a group of friend.
The serves are all effective, they will get the job done and go, so if you expect some personal care, definitely no.

This is a very authentic Chinese restaurant. There are many kinds cuisines with chilies to try. We loved the spicy grilled fish, and it’s tasty. Other dishes are also pretty good if you like spicy foods.
