I told my friends I wanted a place where I could eat and enjoy the best flavor of food for my 22nd birthday. I experienced food in different tasty ways I can't completely describe. Their sliders were on point, with the outside patio and the warm fire - hands down best place to chill in Santana Row!

LOVE Roots & Rye! The concept is very similar to one-star Michelin star Michael Mina but the food is even better and definitely cheaper. Definitely worth the price for what we are paying for! The company changed their menu and chef recently, but the place has continued to maintain its impeccable standard of food and service. My husband and I visit Roots & Rye almost once in a week! Must tries on the menu: Chicken sliders, parmesan fries and bone marrow. Their desserts are excellent too! I've only tried the Candy Bar Tart and love it! The menu changes fairly often but does not disappoint. The pork sliders was introduced (replaced the chicken sliders) this week which was exceptional! Roots & Rye opened earlier this year, but I'm sure the business will continue to perform. Great job guys! - From a loyal Roots & Rye customer!

Pretty good menu items for brunch. I ended up getting the burger and my friends got the chicken and waffles and the BLT!all of which were great! They have a myriad of places to sit from regular restaurant seating to lounge and out outdoor seating. They have a rotating draft selection and lots of different liquors.

Really satisfied with my experience here. Nice warm atmosphere, helpful staff and delicious food! Had the short rib benedict which was so tender and savory! And they were kind enough to sub sauteed spinach for the muffin making this a fantastic keto friendly brunch 😍 Looks like a good place for happy hour. I'll definitely be back!

I was impressed with the drinks on the menu and the appetizers. I was there with a substantially sized group {about 30} but we were accommodated in one large seating area and the bar. Service was a bit slow at times and we had to either hunt down a server or just go to the bar ourselves. The ambience in this place is beautiful and the music vibes were on. Make sure to stop by during happy hour from 3p to 6p except for on Wednesday when it goes all night.

Came to the very dog friendly Santana Row so our dog Rusty could meet Santa and have his picture taken. We and Rusty where welcomed to sit in the covered patio next to a nice cozy fire. The service and food were both excellent!

My sister and I were the only vegans in our big group of family. We both thought that the only possible food that we'll be able to eat here are fries. But, we were happily surprised that they can accommodate our request to make one of their dishes vegan. And we really appreciate our server, Lance, for suggesting another one of their dish that they can make vegan as well. Thank you to the kitchen staff for those 2 tasty dishes. Our whole group loved the ambience and how helpful all the staff were. Their manager was very welcoming as well. Really appreciate all the effort.

Excellent experience. Friendly and attentive server. She was extra helpful in assuring that my mother had tea that she was satisfied with. Fantastic food. Everything had fresh and unique flavors. The drink menu also was interesting. The only unfortunate part was a fib that was told to us about running out of tap beers when what truly happened was the tap system was down. It seems odd to have not just told us the truth. Enjoyed our experience and would recommend.

Too bad I can only give this place 5 stars instead of 10! Wow, wow and so wow! Wow for Erica our server. There was nothing she could have done to make my experience better; friendly and attentive to the max. I hope you're lucky enough to have her as your waitress. I generally don't eat any type of steak (I'm a fish, chicken and turkey girl) but that day I decided to try the Prime Rib English cut... and there lies my second wow! Tender, juicy, flavorful, yummy. Everything was over-the-top delicious! This was not simply eating at a restaurant. This was a dining experience! Kudos to the Team, especially Chef OJ. I requested to personally thank him and he was kind enough to come to our table. ~ Happy dining!

One of the very few whiskey-oriented places in the area! Love the whole ambiance, staff, and drink/food selection available. Tucked away in the corner of the same plaza as Maggiano's, this place feels a little secluded but doesn't fail to stand out. My friend is a person who is interested in whiskey, so he decided that we would come here one night. We were not disappointed! I got my wine fix, and he got his whiskey fix. The waitress was very friendly and checked up on us JUST enough times (not too many that we were constantly interrupted, and not so few that we're just sitting around.) The patio is beautiful, as are the rest of the restaurant/bar, and the fire in the patio area does its job in looking pretty while still keeping you warm. We only went for the whiskey/wine, so the only food we ordered that night was the parmesan fries, which was absolutely delicious and totally hit the spot. The egg that you can dip in was an interested take add-on to the fries and it was actually pretty good! Overall, the place is pricey but that's expected given its location. Can't wait to return!!

Everything was excellent. The food, the service, the atmosphere. A little pricey; you can easily spend $100 a person with a cocktail, appetizer and entree but it's worth every dollar. I mean their creamed corn was amazing and I'm not a big fan of creamed corn!

Great cocktails and contemporary dishes, the banoffe creme brule was off the charts
