Tandoori Oven is a Indian food restaurant located in San Jose, 1st Market Street area. The place is known for its Indian cuisine offerings and they cover almost all the popular Indian dishes in their menu. I visited this place during dinner time with my foodie friends and we've had some good foodie moments there. Our complete order included: Veg Biryani, Paneer Masala (Cottage Cheese Curry), Butter Chicken Garlic Naan accompanied by Mango Lassi and Papad (a crispy Indian side snack). I personally liked the Veg Biryani and Paneer dish along with Mango Lassi, while my friends gave kudos to Butter Chicken and Garlic Naans. All in all it's a decent place to head out for, if you're looking to lift your tastebuds with an array on Indian food items in San Jose area.

When my husband and I visited this place, it was around 3 on a Saturday and it was empty, so it was quiet. The guy who took our order was kind and helpful. I got a cholay bhatura (it comes with naan bread, which I like, but this one in particular was too greasy. They probably fry it, I’m not sure). The soup was too spicy for me, but very tasty! My husband got a wrap, he loved it! We could tell the food is authentic and fresh made! We missed the buffet special, but it would be interesting to try!

Jagir singh is the cheef and all-rounder he makes wonderful meal i had the biryani rice it is very big and delicious, this place is in heart or town, the restaurant is very relaxing and has calmed Indian music, i definitely recommend this place for family and friends to come in and have dinner together, #foodie, #localguides, #Meetup-place, #GoogleMaps
