This is going to be my new spot to take people when I’m in San Jose. I was turned onto this location by a friend of mine who frequents here. While I was waiting for my friend, the staff was extra, warm and friendly, and I got a really good vibe from them. They even Asked about the TikTok sandwich that was making the rounds. I can confidently say, that you haven't eaten a real sandwich, until you've tried one from here! I've tried sandwiches from every establishment out there, and nothing compares! Where can you find a sandwich place that bakes their own sourdough bread, and bbq's their own meats? I think there might be one other place in San Jose that does, but there is some type of connection to this location. Side note: the employees at the other place are not very friendly. I ordered the Russian, which is their roast beef and turkey on dark Russian rye bread and swiss cheese. I substitute the dark Russian rye for the fresh sourdough bread they make every 30 minutes or so. I'd say this crucial for the overall experience here. If you opt to get regular bread that you can get at any grocery store, you might as well go to Panera or Subway. The sourdough bread is so fresh, sometimes you can even see it smoking. It is always crunchy on the outside, and very soft and warm on the inside. This allows the bread to encase all the goodness inside the sandwich. They use their own special sandwich dressing, which is very light and not overwhelming. They are very consistent here, so you will never get a sandwich that is saturated with dressing. Since the all of their meets are bbq'd in house, the texture and flavor is amazing. Trust me, once you try a sandwich here, it will be very hard to settle for a Subway sandwich. Sandwiches are set at $11, but you will probably end up eating half, and saving the other half for later. This is hands down my favorite sandwich place in the bay area! Don't forget it is cash only.

Very delicious freshly baked sandwiches will definitely come back first time ever try these sandwiches and was not disappointed I highly recommend to any friendly staff to.

Some of the best service & food I’ve ever seen. Greeted upon entry, got a recommendation when I asked, had my sandwich before I sat down. Indoor & outdoor seating with shade. 10/10, keep up the good work.
