Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, indoor dining has been closed, and I haven't visited this restaurant for a long time. Today I came here to place an order for sushi. A dining table was set up at the entrance of the restaurant to block guests from entering. The waiter and sushi chef both wear it. Masks, which can effectively avoid infection of the virus. The taste and size of the sushi produced by the restaurant have not changed, the same is delicious and the size is sufficient. With the current coronavirus being so severe, it is indeed not easy to maintain the standard.
Amazing food. Fresh handmade rolls. It’s a bit of a slow service but they have amazing food. Only place I go to when I eat raw sushi. Very clean establishment
I meet friends in this restaurant often! This is the best place to eat. I go there at least once a month. The food is just great, the staff is polite and the prices are fair. I like eating in this place over a decent supper.
My S/O and I came here a lot prior to COVID-19 and enjoyed their AYCE + Bento options. Only thing is, their AYCE was fairly slow and we used to order a lot at once to try & minimize wait.
Nowadays, I order their Bento Box options for pick-up and they've always been really tasty. The Bento I have ordered has been their Teriyaki Chicken + Rice + Veggie Tempura + California Roll.
Recently, they have closed off the outside parking to create outdoor dining spots. They do have plenty of parking behind & underneath the plaza though, so you should have no problem there.
We recently decided to try their outdoor dining because they were offering AYCE. I would say, overall, quality didn't taste as good as I recalled. Also, they increased the price since pre-COVID to $32 Regular and $34 Premium which is steep.
I will still order their Bento Box meal for pick-up, but will hold on doing any AYCE until everything is back to normal again.
I used a groupon deal for two specialty rolls here at Yoshino Sushi. I really enjoyed the marathon roll - the caterpillar roll was decent. Important to note that there is a tax fee (cash only) between 3 and 4 dollars here.
All in all, an enjoyable experience once you factor the discount I received. Will come back again.
I got the Marathon roll. I recommend ordering any sauce that they normally put on the roll to be on the side, as the chef was a bit heavy-handed. Besides that I would recommend! I'll likely order from here again.
