Hands down some of the best pizza in the city, the dough is amazing. It’s pretty tricky to make a cheese-less pizza that isn’t soggy but Gioia does this perfectly!! Any of their pizzas are amazing with/without cheese (for all my fellow lactose intolerant/vegans).

Highly recommending Gioia Pizzeria to people who are fans of New York style pizza using super fresh ingredients. The overall quality of the food was amazing! I thought the pizza was fabulous and my son thought it was the best pizza he has ever had (the kid knows his pizza!). The meatball are pretty fabulous as well!!! If you are looking for a sit down pizza place - this is not your place (unless you want to walk down the street and hang in the park). But if you are looking for great quality food and fabulous pizza (meatballs, chicken parm and salads!!!) - than this is your place! Also - would be great if you are having people over or corporate lunch/happy hour. You won't be disappointed!

This is my go-to place for a single slice of divinely crispy thin crust pizza that is a bit elevated. Not your cheap greasy-spoon kinda place, this spot is a bit fancy pants in its execution and has really friendly great staff. The wings are delicious and juicy here as well. I've picked up a pizza or two on short notice but I'll say, you gotta toast them up before eating to get the experience of their pizza-by-the-slice.

Decent pizza, honestly just go here because Paxti's is not real pizza and this is the closest place. Also, they don't let you add pepperoni to a pizza (specifically pepperoni, you can add other things). Missed upsell opportunity. I literally asked if I could just pay for it and they said they don't do that.

Pizza was delicious and staff was super friendly. Great delicious slices but on the pricey side. Normal for SF but worth a visit!

Ever had a slice of pizza that reminds you of Jon Stewart's rant on pizza? These do! Made just right for folding and biting into. Really knocked it out the park with the avocado + arugula salad and chicken wings, too. You can taste and see the TLC they put into making these (heck, even the delivery box is unique!). We found this on Uber Eats... the app can be a hit or miss, but Gioia delivers!
