Cafe Coco

Pasty is good. Spot is ok for atmosphere a lot of homeless but they keep to themselves. It is NOT cheap for items like a macchiato... small cup about 6oz shot (mind you I was thinking for $3 dollars it would be Starbucks 12oz) but nope. It’s literally as described a “shot of expresso with foam.” The blueberry coffee cake was moist and delicious. Tea and coffee were good. Again a little expensive for what you get. If you’re a coffee drinker and stop by ok, if looking for Starbucks style not the place. People were friendly, but still learning (one guy) took 5 minutes for my expresso shot (macchiato)

Good breakfast sandwiches... Typical San Francisco prices...I like the prior owner better more personable and had contact with customers.. customers are glued to devices even couples don't talk to each other. Why even go out. Why do customers pay $10 for a bagel and coffee, then clean up their tables like they work there. if you want to clean up after you eat, don't go and pay for a meal. The restaurant makes more money because you are willing to clean up. You pay for your food, let them do THEIR job.

Never liked their coffee. The espresso drinks are good. The sandwiches are hit or miss Many are served with a little pile of salad with what looks like a sweet balsamic dressing. Too sweet for me. The carrots on the salad always taste dry and old. Sometimes the meats are rubbery or taste OLD. If you order something as simple as a Reuben likely the'll be out of one of the ingredients: rye bread, sauerkraut or both. Prices are good for the sandwiches. The bagel and smoked salmon is always good. The tuna salad is is the worst. More mayo than I've ever seen on a tuna sandwich. If you bite it the tuna oozes all over. Nice selection of cakes and "healthy" munchies. Seems to be clean/ healthy. The bathroom is spotless unless you are unlucky enough to use after a pig person. I wish they had one good dependable sandwich besides the bagel and sm salmon.

I had excellent service from a very friendly woman, named Sarah. I had a cup of the minestrone soup which was delicious served with toasted rye bread . Also the coffee was very good. The place is clean, comfortable seating, free Wifi and so close to bus stop at Geary and 6th ave. This is getting to be one of my favorite places to go when in the area. The next time I am going to try the quinoa salad. I thought the prices were reasonable.
