Wonderful little coffee shop in the sleepy Richmond district, located on the southwest corner of California and 17th Avenue. Filled with an eccentric selection of knick knacks, cards, and gifts, this place has a charming atmosphere only topped by the drinks and service. A neighborhood gem.
Pro tip: try the Richmond fog!
Incredibly friendly owner, great coffee and espresso drinks and a bunch of unique gifts. The only thing I’d like to have is more tables and seating inside. They don’t have a restroom, but are upfront about that, and there are public options nearby. Otherwise this is a great place to get coffee in the Richmond District!

One of my favorite coffee shops, a quirky hidden gem. This is part knick-nack store, part florist, part coffee shop. The owner is very kind and serves you herself, and sometimes she has pies or other pastries from a nearby bakery. It's small, not a place for camping out with a laptop so much as a place for a nice conversation with a friend, on the way through the neighborhood. Slow down, relax, have a cup, and just enjoy a place that isn't like every other coffee shop.
This is a nice place for special gifts, especially baby gifts! The service is friendly, and the pastries and drinks are really good. (I love the Richmond Fog! (earl grey latte w/ vanilla)) They also have shaved ice.
Homey but well-kept, neighborhood cafe Japonica has a smallish assortment of pastries and decent coffee. Wifi-less. Likely worth a look
Love the knick knacks in the shop, the on-tap kombucha, tasty pastries and coffee, and incredibly kind owner.
