I've come here several times when I was looking for a cafe to get some work done. Unlike many other venues on Valencia with wifi, V-105 is never crowded -- I'm usually the only one here with a laptop. Most people who come through the door get their meal to go, though there's usually a wave of people who meet for lunch. The menu consists of soups, salads and sandwiches, and there are always some delicious-looking pastries at the counter. I'm a vegetarian, and there are several options to choose from on the standard menu as well as a special sandwich of the day. I generally like the food, but I'm always leagues more excited by the description than the final result: the flavors are comforting rather than exciting, and the focaccia bread (typically a trump card for me) is thinner and drier than I like. While I don't love the food, I keep coming back with my laptop because of the decent coffee, quiet surroundings, and friendly staff. They're always having a good time and playing some nice tunes.

My favorite cafe in the Mission. Homemade bread. No cold cuts, real meat. Delicious and fresh salad. Very reasonable prices. I love to get the chicken sandwich with an added side of roasted potatoes.

One of the few places offering coffee early in the morning. $2.5 for a large cup of black coffee. The exterior looks pretty inviting. The interior is warm and cute. A cosy cafe to grab a drink or breakfast. Only had a take away coffee so I can't comment about their food. Coffee wise, unfortunately, was a bad one. Was warm but tasted diluted. At least it wasn't pricey. Service was pleasant. Greeted with a big sweet smile which is lovely for a morning.

The folks at work ordered from here for my birthday lunch. The food was outstanding! I usually review based on service, and I can't speak to that this time around because I wasn't there. I had the pork belly sandwich and it was flavorful, great textures and delicious bread. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well.

Very good food, made with passion. It's a touch pricey but well worth it (-1 star) The lunch sandwiches come with a salad and a always a touch of care, which you can see and taste in the ingredients and presentation.

Just to be clear this is a review based on one sandwich and one experience. The whole was not greater than the sum of its parts unfortunately because the parts were not that great. 3 things I didn't like 1. Sliced portobello mushrooms on a sandwich if the sandwich is a portobello mushroom sandwich 2. When the water is from some sort of self serving apparatus with lemons floating in it. 3. I feel bad saying this because someone probably spent a lot of time on their painting but it just kinda looked like mounds of ketchup and mustard and well you know.....I am just a guy trying to eat a sandwich that I am not sure about already.... 3 things I did like 1. Marble tables....those are getting pretty popular though, is marble the new reclaimed wood? 2. The lighting fixtures, they were modern? 3. The floor, I think it was black slate or something. I will probably go back, I live pretty close and well I will most likely just want to look at the things I liked, then order something to make it seem like I didn't just come in to look at their floor. It was only my first time --everyone deserves a second chance, right?

Healthy, lighter but very delicious lunches. Half sandwich with soup is the way to go. They also pour some excellent coffee.

Anything on their focaccia bread is amazing. It can take a while for your order to show.
