Charming thai spot with cheap and delicious fair. I got the char broiled honey chili garlic beef and my friend got tofu noodles, both tasted very fresh and were filling. Prices here are around the 8/9$ mark, you really cant go wrong with that considering the quality of food. Service is homey and friendly, my amzing thai iced tea was taken away while there was still some left and the owner gladly gave me another instead of handing back the almost finished drink.

Really great Thai takeout at an ever better price! The egg rolls and Kai yarng were very good. Definitely going back! Heads up you may have to knock when you get there to pick up. They lock the doors at night sometimes.

I love all the food here. My favorite is Pud Phuket: Fried rice stick noodle with chicken and shrimp, egg, basil, oniins, bell pepper and yellow curry powder. It's the BOMB!

That's a spicy meat ball! Stumbled upon this place looking for something that was close to home and cheap to eat at. I don't know why anybody would review this place for less than five stars the food was hot the serving size was good and the flavor is authentic. I asked for spicy and not "very spicy" and it still had me in tears. I thought I was tough enough to handle Thai spice. Cons; Only downside is the curry was on the smaller side, great taste though!

Authentic, real, analog. The food wasn't amazing but it was very good and for $15 all in, that's what I expect. It reminds me of a proper Thai restaurant before Asia food became 30+ for less than 30 Cal's. There not trying to impress anyone, they had classical FM playing in the background, an empty fish tank, display shelfs full of family heirlooms and the the waiter tried to up sell me prown rice on the sly, and I'm glad she tried (close but no segar). It felt like a home away from home and it deserves 5 stars ... but I hope it never gets there because it won't be the same.

This is the perfect spot to eat when you are looking for a quality serving. You got a whole big plate of fried rice and a choice of meat for only $7. Plus, the service is awesome too. Staff are friendly and can build a rapport with their customers. I wish they open more branches in the city.

My family has been ordering takeout from Phuket Thai for years and we love it! Definitely my favorite Thai place, I recommend it. The staff are all super friendly and attentive and the food is always awesome. We love the Pad Thai, fried rice, chicken skewers, and their soups. :)

Phuket Thai is not a looker. Everything about the place is a little faded and a little dusty. The fish tanks don't have fish in them, and there are a lot of creepy porcelain cats. The fact is, if I didn't live next door to the place I would probably never have given it a second thought. But I do, and over the last 4 years I've tried pretty much every item on the menu. And I can say with confidence that there are two things going for this place that support my rating--the people who run it, and the yellow curry. The staff are an incredibly nice family who will go out of their way to make you feel at home. The yellow curry (that's #47 for the menu sticklers) is a rich, satisfying broth with plenty of chicken, potato, and even some bay leaves, which are a cool touch. So give it a try--don't bother making it a sit-down meal, just order your #47 for take-out, chat with the family while they prep it, and enjoy the yellow curry in the area at your leisure. TLDR: The empty fishtanks look suspicious But the yellow curry is delicious
