Bistro Burger

Cute little spot off of Sacramento between Sansome and Montgomery. Offers "Mexiterranean" fare in a fast casual setting. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Burrito through MealPal, and was a little underwhelmed by the general lack of seasoning. The chicken & cucumber dressing was on point, but unfortunately the rest of burrito was a little dissapointing. The chickpeas were chalky and detracting from the overall taste and the rice was bland and a waste of my daily carbs.

I have gotten MealPal from here a couple times because it's close to the office. Sometimes the employees are a bit rude when checking out MealPal customers - I feel they think we are less important than other customers going through the line. In addition, the chicken tortilla salad has an incredibly small amount of chicken - we are talking less than an ounce - so it isn't really a good value. It taste good, though - which is why I didn't rate this place one or two stars.

I really like this grab and go spot. It's off the beaten path so it tends to be less crowded than some of the other lunch spots in the area. Plus the food is pretty good, possibly better than some of the other spots in the area. If you haven't tried Torshi it's is worth a shot, the service is fast and the food options are pretty good.

Interesting concept and not that common. I don't think there's​ another similar one out there, or even close to it. Not a place you would come across every now and then. Media day was delayed, but today was two events rolled​ into​ one. Humble workers at FOH with assistance from BOH employees for this grand opening. Friendly and knowledgeable workers ready to make your meal whenever​ you're ready, but don't hold up the line being indecisive. Large heaping scoops are given no matter if it's protein or veggie, they don't skimp. Items in bowl are patted down making space for more to come basically over a scoop given. I went ahead with burrito bowl minus the tortilla with lamb & beef protein. Worthy and hefty bowl that's well-made and will filled you up for rest of day. Lamb & beef was delicious seasoned perfectly. And you know what? They'll​ do half and half of something if you asked. Curiosity is solved.

Didn't know what to expect when a coworker suggested this place, but was happily surprised. It's like a Chipotle style ordering system, but with Mediterranean food (hummus, falafel, etc). The food was great, but the service was slow, I don't think they were prepared for the lunch rush. I'll definitely be back.
