After walking past this past for years I finally went inside and had the biggest bowl of Pho I’ve ever had in my life! The broth was fantastic and I can’t wait to go back!

Updated review 12/15/2021:
The price on the in-person menu is different than what they charge. My bill came out a dollar more than the menu price. No biggie. The Vietnamese crispy seafood noodles $14 were still good. There isn't a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants in the city that serves this dish. I prefer the way this place makes it because it is extra crispy without a lot of gravy to make it mushy.

We came here on Sat 7/24 for lunch. As expected, the food was terrific. I got my usual crispy seafood noodles. O that first bite. It was crispy and then I dipped the noodles into that gravy to soften it up a bit. My friends got the beef pho special and the chicken pho. They all loved it. Great job everyone at Pho Huynh Sang!

Indoor dining tonight 3/7/2021. Pho Huynh Sang only recently re-opened indoor dining on 3/5/2021. In terms of COVID protocols, they had barriers set-up for the take out counter and the back cashier booth. I ordered my usual #62 - Crispy Vietnamese noodles with seafood. It has been over a year since I ate this dish. This is the type of dish that aren't good for delivery or take out as the gravy will soak the crispy noodles. When my dish arrived, it smelled so good! It was like seeing an old friend that you haven't seen in a while. You can totally smell the black pepper and the fresh garlic bits. It came with plenty of vegetables and it was awesome. The gravy was a little plain but it did its job. It was a shame to see there were hardly any other customers inside because Pho Huynh Sang serves a good plate of noodles.

The best mango beef salad I have ever tasted. The place looks so unassuming but they serve amazing food with good portions. Love it !!!

Amazing vegetarian menu! It’s not often I see so many vegetarian menu options like Bum Bo Hue chay (which was SO good) and banh xeo. Staff was incredibly friendly and the place felt super welcoming. Can’t wait to go back

I found this place by accident and now I go there weekly and sometimes more often. David and Lei(sp?) are very welcoming and attentive. The food is deliciously addicting 😋. I'm vegan and Lei is very helpful offering suggestions from an extensive healthy menu. I love the vegetarian soup, the rice crepes, the spring rolls and the sautéed vegetables. Everything that I have tried so far has tasted fresh and been delicious. One can order to go or eat at the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the portions very generous. I highly recommend it!
I can't wait to go back again soon!

Broth was great, noodles were excellent. I like to dip the meat in a mix of sauces (chili paste, soy sauce, and lime juice), but you don't have to because the meat is great too. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area.

Hands down one of the best vietnamese restaurants in San Francisco, worth driving too. Incredible pricing and generous portions.

Absolute favorite Vietnamese spot on Clement St. Always delicious, authentic and flavorful. You can tell they really care about delivering quality. Can’t go wrong with any of their dishes from their pho to bahn mi to garlic noodle dishes. Such a gem!
