When u need a sandwich and a warm coffee,while listening to nice jazz music with a great ocean ave atmosphere, Fog lifter cafe is the place to be at!
I’m almost always satisfied whenever I come here, I really recommend this place and I recommend the Grilled Chicken Panini (the one in the photo).

Wonderful local cafe with addictive espresso drinks. (Serving Illy) Great place to do a bit of work when you want get out of the house.
Fog Lifter is a neighborhood staple that has been getting better and better, slowly but surely. They got their beer license, improved the layout inside, and seem to be serving better coffee from a few years ago. Food is only passable and I wish they'd redo their menu next, but this cost spot is great to study in or grab a quick drink.

And the owner rides motorcycles too. Cool dude!
Clean. Always clean. And there is always good music playing. Never too loud. Very comfortable for reading or working.
The coffee is good too. And so are the bagels.
It’s a nicely light, clean, and comfortable place. Great cappuccinos! I don’t find their coffee to be too acidic. Friendly staff as well.
This place have great coffee and great food. But what makes it so special is the people that work there. They make you feel at home!
Slightly pricey but what isn't now adays in San Francisco? I order a Turkey Provolone and it was excellent. I also ordered an Iced Mocha which was also good. Charming little place with music to suit, not a bad choice for lunch at all.
