This Magnolia has a beautiful taproom with modernized decors and space. However, it fell flat compared to the Magnolia brewing at Haight/Ashbury (H/A). The staff were doing a good job, but that is it. Unlike the Magnolia H/A, the staff there are willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customers are happy. The food was just so so, not great like their H/A taproom/restaurant. We visited Magnolia H/A and loved it, and wanted to give their brewery at Dogpatch a try. But what a stark difference in the feelings we get. The beer were the same in both places, thank goodness. Otherwise, I would probably give it a even lower rating. The moral of the story is that if you want Magnolia Beer, go to their H/A brewpub where it all began.

The atmosphere is great but the food was pretty bad. I got the burrata and it was basically bread with globs of cheese on it. Barely any sauce or flavor. Get the beer, but stay away from the food.

Industrial looking bar with lots of beer on tap. Large and spacious with TVs for sports. Food came in big portions. Nice place to hang out and grab food/drinks with the buddies.

They have some good beer. The food is just OK. The chicken in their sliders was dry and one was heavily salted. My son's burger that was ordered as medium was raw on the inside. I think they're using frozen patties and not letting them thaw before cooking. The sauce on the ribs was excellent but the ribs themselves were dry.

They did a great job revamping this place which used to be magnolia smokestack. The space is much more airy and bright, with nice couch seats etc. the menu is modern American, with a great selection of small shareable bites and larger plates. The roasted chicken is AMAZING. I rarely order chicken out but this one was super juicy, flavorful with just the right amount of skin - a must order. Beer selection is of course, fantastic and they offer flights 🤗🤗

Great brunch option! One big plus is that you can make reservations! Yay, no waiting in line. The food is also quite delicious, I’d definitely go back. I’ve never been during the weekday or for dinners so I can only speak to their brunch menu. MUST GET: deviled eggs, breakfast sandwich (ask for some hot sauce to put in the sandwich!) DONT GET: nothing we had was bad. One thing I wish we asked them to bring out later so that it would be hot was the French toast. We had it come with everyone’s mains and we were too engrossed in our mains that none of us tried it hot. I did really enjoy their pineapple sauce on top of the French toast but do wish it were crunchier. Really liked the high ceilings and bright sunlight that you get during the day. Highly recommend for brunch in sf if you don’t want to wait. :)

A pretty good experience overall, the food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was lively. The wedge salad was good, but nothing to write home about. Same for the New York strip, which felt a little tough and slightly more well done than the "medium" I ordered. The fries were fine. The Barbara wine was excellent, but the Zinfandel was one of the few times in my life I actually disliked a glass of wine. The roasted cauliflower was perfect, though. Sadly, they didn't have gluten-free buns for their burgers.

Lots of IPA's but there really wasn't anything spectacular. I recommend to order the flight as they do generous pours and great way to find what you like. The food was good but a bit on the high side. The hamburger was tasty. My wife had the warm Escolar (sp?) salad and really liked it.
