Imperial Palace Restaurant

Tried this place through Too Good To Go, and it’s a great value. $3.99 for a good variety of random food that they had leftover at the end of the day. The service was nicer than I usually encounter in Chinatown, and they packed my food fresh in front of me. I will say I dropped by at 6:30 on a Sunday and the place was already empty with everyone cleaning up, which seemed odd because the hours say they close at 8. So recommend coming earlier for better atmosphere and fresher taste. Overall, recommended as it was a pleasant experience.

Appalling. Absolutely disgusting.This was one of the absolute dirtiest places i have ever been. Every single dish was covered in grime and specks of dried food bits from the dishwasher. The table was not cleaned, rather covered with paper. The sake is served cold and watered down. The food was undercooked. They literally didn't fry my veggies fried rice, it was white rice with warmed up frozen pre-cut bagged veggies. The service was rude. The food came out at random times leaving my partner with no food for a while. Our server never brought us napkins, never checked up on the table literally even one time. We were never never served waters.We waited for a long time to get our bill. Side note, there was almost a fight between two over-served black out drunk elderly men. The atmosphere was horrible and uncomfortable at best. I wish there was a way to leave less than one star. I was aghast. Never ever step foot in this absolute trash pile excuse for a restaurant as long as you live. It's abysmal.

We tried this place from Too Good To Go and were very pleasantly surprised. They packed the food up fresh in front of us. The chicken had pineapple and peppers and was cooked in what tasted like a yummy sweet & sour type sauce. The tofu had mushrooms, peas, and carrots with a mildly spicy sauce. All in all this place was excellent. We plan on returning as a normal customer!
